  1. Most finance companies will lend you the money for any car, be it 2 or 20 years old, but these "bad credit" companies place stupid stipulations on the car. A couple of years ago my credit rating was less than perfect when I found a great deal on a very low mileage GT3 kitted 996. The only companies I could find to offer me the money for a car had ridiculous limits on age, mileage, engine size and number of cylinders.
  2. They'll be fine. I've seen big brand ones cheaper on sale.
  3. a2orry appears to be correct, it'll be the heat shields. So just ignore the advisory and buy the Cobra
  4. Looks like you're contacting car loan companies for those with bad credit. I don't know if you have bad credit or not, but if you don't, you're safer just getting a loan.

    Spark plug socket

The oil all over the plug is a sign of the seals on the valve cover having failed. You can either buy a new one for whichever bank the plug came from, or contact Torqen about purchasing the seals on their own for less money, but more work.
  6. So they say, but several members are running them with no additional work without issue. I can't think of anyone who has reinforced them.
  7. For small areas it looks good, for a whole car it looks not to bad from a distance and @*!# up close. I went to a trade stand last year that had loads of those little car shells painted in hundreds of different colours of dip, including flip, candy and metallics. They all looked like @*!# up close
  8. Yes, all UK cars have Xenon lights
  9. Whoever is quoting you £120 to take that door dent out is trying to give you a right good shafting...
  10. All languages adopt words from other languages. Things change and as we get older, we are more resistant to that change.
  11. Different rear wheels. Looks like he was probably break several traffic laws that evening and ran out of talent
  12. I t can be, you just have to buy true coilovers
  13. The suspense is killing me
  14. The green eyed monster gets a grip of them!
  15. Slight accident? Looks like you went sideways into a kerb at quite some speed, but then what happened the arch?
  16. I've just discovered a cigarette burn on my wiper arm. Couldn't have happened by accident and unfortunately no way of finding out exactly where or when it happened.
  17. Have you seen how the Japanese car auction work? There's a reason why people get paid to buy cars at them lol
  18. The biggest difference you'll see on here in regards to numbers is where it's been mapped. TDI Norths Dyno reads quite a bit higher than say, Abbey Motorsports. So cars with the same mods may appear to be as much as 20 bhp apart, but in reality they are much closer than that. Find dyno figures are literally just bragging rights. There are that many different types of dynos that will all give different readings and then there are environmental influences like temperature that influence the final value.
  19. Half that quote would be expensive. I'm pretty sure that's fixable for less than your excess. As Ekona says, the insurance has been informed so you're stuff for the next 5 years paying for it anyway, so go through them and force them to accept a bodyshop to do the work.
