There should be a plaque under the bonnet, left hand side if I remember correctly.

Same thing happened me with Chris Knott when I swapped the 350 for the M6. Half way through the policy I changed the car and they couldn't get me insured. Admiral it is then But it was a bitter pill to swallow losing those 6 months NCB.

Why not just put the Berks back on? Magic combination! Sounds to me like the Berks are still fitted, he now has a Milltek fitted after his stock exhaust probably failed and would like the rasp and crackles of that combo back. Don't worry about buying a new mid pipe, just get an exhaust place to chop out the resonator and weld in straight pipe.

I was just seeing if anyone would notice that lol. Thanks fella. Might wanna change the widths too

Like all cells in your body, your hair has a limited life until your body ejects it to be replaced with new ones.

This has got to be down to variables, i.e. pilot, tyres etc. The Cayman is 0.5+ seconds faster to 60 off the line that the Zed, has more power, lighter and the engine is in a better place.

Noise is fine, its just the sound of loads of air getting sucked in through a dense filter.

Rear arches just behind the wheels close to the rear bumper is the common spot.

PM Clarks Motorsport for the rears, they'll be brand new and obviously a bit more expensive, but you'll get them now

I purchased this the other night: http://www.lego.com/...-hours-race-car I'm seriously impressed - it's huge too! (48cm in length ooer) It's an awesome bit of kit and has really ignited a lust for more Lego - even though all I've managed to do so far is build the rear axle, diff, suspension and engine Thats on my list too. I believe it's on sale at a few places for around £70.

They list them on the policy (usually for a small premium), granted. They also offer additional "modification cover" which can be pricey... especially as the documents then state that the maximum they will pay out for ALL of those "covered" modifications combined is £500. Seeing as they list dealer options as modifications, that doesn't actually cover anything Nissan offered on the Z except maybe a set of mats and a cargo net.... Also, depending on what day of the week it is, what time of the day it is, who you're speaking to, who you've spoken to previously and what colour socks you're wearing, they may or may not also include factory fitted items as modifications and £500 certainly won't cover a set of RAYS or a GT Pack (back when they were seperate options of course) let alone both. Simply the fact that they can't agree amongst themselves what their own policy is, is enough for me to steer clear. That said, they do offer very cheap quotes (in the first year at the very least), so they will be adequate for some people. If they were just a little (well, a lot) more transparant about their practices I wouldn't have a problem with them... I still wouldn't use them again, but I wouldn't have an issue with them. Thats why I didn't take out their optional modification cover add on, the £500 wouldn't cover 2 wheels But, don't all insurers class optional extras as modifications or at least require them to be listed? The value of some German cars can near double when extras are taken into account.

Purchased one last night in work now I need to decide if I'm going to keep it safe as an investment or build it...

Yes, their modifications policy is a bit odd that they don't cover like for like etc, but on the other hand they don't overload the premium for having them. They also have quite broad spectrum modification lists, where you can select a group of mods such as "exterior changes" and cover many small mods than another company would require you to individually list or risk issues in the event of a claim. Their staff I find as knowledgable as a brush when it comes to cars, but then again I have the same opinion of the staff of a forum specialist insurer too, who also don't know jack. I've been with them for 80% of my driving life and have never had a real problem, including one claim. The only time I swayed from them was when said forum specialist insurer managed to beat them by 10% and offer like for like on modification. Are the best insurer about? Hell no, but they are hundreds cheaper than their competitors for me, so it's a no brainer

Yes, I absolutely agree with that - the regulation about what comapnies are allowed to "assume" for the renewal needs to better defined and/or applied. Stick todecent companies that do their best to get a reasonable quote (even though you can always get it down further) straight off the bat, they're the ones that tend to get my business. Admiral had offered me a decent quote for my first year and then tried to double it for the second, when I phoned up to cancel the renewal having got a much better quote from Chris Knott I was offered the whole "we'll see if we get that quoote down for you sir" song and dance; I told them outright that if they can't be bothered to do that first time then I can't be bothered to give them a second chance at it. I now won't go back to Admiral, or any of it's affiliates, even if they offered me free insurance for the year. Although I agree with your point, they should give a competitive quote automatically etc, but isn't that last statement a bit "biting your nose off to spite your face"?

But isn't the beam pattern the wrong way round? I guess so long as the highest part of the beam is within tolerances, it's fine, but I think there'll be a slight loss in throw distance.

UK MOT regulations state that 'where fitted, headlight washers must work' none fitted, don't need them As for the other 2 pins, I believe they are for the auto headlight levelling that is another requirement for having Xenon lights.

To buy or not - Cheap 2003 silver Z 86k with engine fault
KyleR replied to bluefrog's topic in 350Z General
Sounds to me like the cats are fine and just need heated up before running the test. HFC's are well known for failing emissions tests, but they tend to run more efficiently when hot. Mitz will know this and maybe told the guy to take it for a run and take it back, but the car needs ragged pretty hard to get the heat into the cats to pass. -
Mine are chinese ebay ones They are 8 pin lights whereas the UK lights are 6 pin so they take a bit of modifying to fit but its nothing major UKDM are 8 pin, all Xenon are.

[SOLD] 2003 Supercharged Nissan 350Z GT coupe (436Bhp)
KyleR replied to GMballistic's topic in Zeds For Sale
A well looked after cracking motor. Someone will be lucky to snap this up However, can I suggest you fix the washer motors before selling? The reason I say this is because it would put me off considering the car because if it's such a cheap easy fix, why has it not been fixed? Which makes me think, what else has he not bothered fixing? -
Yellow GT4 '05 350z £6750 - A good buy or not???
KyleR replied to Mikevv's topic in Spotted on Ebay or Other
Price is about right for a limited edition, but as already mentioned, it only has the facelift (296) engine, not the rest of the goodies, which IMO, are more important such as the interior, lights and front bumper. -
Looks like it could be an Irish import. That would put off some people because they aren't aware that Irish and British Zeds are identical spec, except this one has the GT4 wheels like most latter registered 350's in Ireland.

Hmmmm, some key part of this story is missing it seems

WANTED: CD009 gearbox low mileage or reconditioned
KyleR replied to Boulderman1988's topic in Wanted
A rebuild should cost around £500 and a new CD009 box will cost anywhere from £700 to £1000 depending on miles and condition. -
I've seen a couple of cars with those RSW kits and TBH, they don't look great. You'd be better off finding someone who can skin the existing console in carbon, it'll cost about the same and look many times better.
