  1. Have you tried this yet? http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?s ... 0014456930
  2. Probably a repost, but this looks a little... stressful:
  3. It is possible that the seller thinks it's a GT because it has Brembo's and 18's, and didn't know that all UK Zed's have them, whereas they would be optional extra's/mid range models in Japan and the US.
  4. My car is a jdm and has no washers or levelling yet it passed its mot in January fine. HID's as standard. I did sweat it alittle but I think they when they see an import they just think it comes from the factory. You're probably right, come to think of it, my washers weren't even checked during MoT and mines a UK
  5. The rear brace should have the silver cover and badge no matter what spec it is
  6. No such issues on my '04, it does buck a bit if I let the throttle off a little too quickly though in lower gears and above 2k rpm.
  7. Brim it around the 1st-3rd each month, varies between 60 and 72L.
  8. There is an amp beside the sub if you remove it and I believe there is a separate amp for the 6 speakers. Someone better informed will hopefully be along to clarify
  9. It could be done if you bought one of those HID kits of eBay pretty cheap, but I believe technically to legally have HID's you have to have auto leveling headlights and washers...
  10. Pm 4RE Leather memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=7813 I may be wrong but I think Liquid Leather is who he uses for his stuff and he got them to make up Alezan for him and it was a perfect match. Not sure if they called it Alezan or something else, but they kept it in stock for the future anyway as far as I know.
  11. Apparently it can just be replaced, but I take it it wouldn't be an OEM facelift window as I believe it's slightly smaller than the plastic one
  12. 8-9 litres I heard a few bad stories about the rear window, but I think it's only about £500 to get it replaced with a glass one, problem solved
  13. Oh oh oh, interesting. Any teasers on this? Some say... there was a jet fighter in surrey... all we know is that it's coming soon. So it flames and goes WHOOOOSH?
  14. It may not add anything to the value of the car second hand, similar to how earlier cars with Ray's aren't really any more expensive than those with the standard 18's and those with the £600 optional Alezan leather are possibly even a little cheaper, but if I was still in the market and came across a GT with some of those options and a standard GT, both in similar condition/mileage/price, i'd definitely opt for the one with the sat nav/rays/alezan. So, whereas it may not add value, it is certainly a selling point, of course Alezan is up to taste, but I want it
  15. Best colour if you're too lazy to polish a Kuro
  16. It shouldn't matter what you bought them for, if they are worth £1300, they are worth £1300.
  17. I'm a bit confused. So your kit is 300 miles away and i'm assuming it's at a body shop because the zed has to go there?
  18. Oh oh oh, interesting. Any teasers on this?
  19. I think he meant second hand, maybe English isn't his first language. If code readers cost buttons I could understand buying a reader so you could plug it in when viewing the car to see what kind of fault codes it's been throwing up.
  20. I accidentally hit the lock button on the fob after climbing in and the alarm went off until I inserted the key. Sounds like your after market cobra is interfering with the factory alarm.
  21. I think it looks a little bit too... American. I like the interior, though, but I much prefer the Evoque, if only they came with bigger badder engines!
  22. Can I ask why you didn't opt to get it from Zmanalex? I've never priced clutches from him but i'm certain he could have got it for quite a bit cheaper than that...
  23. And most people put 25mm spacers on those, so only 12mm further, which would look good with a tiny bit of stretch. Don't tease me anymore I have a question though, those in the thread you posted are Grid Drifts, so am I right in saying that the Grid's don't have the deep dish that a 10-10.5" Grid Drift would have, but instead have a hugely concave style instead? I only ask because in the generic pics floating about the internet they all look much the same. PS - still gotta email you those brake pics, i'll get on it
