    Resistor help

According to Chris/Keyser and all the US forums, yes. I know I could just ask there, but its a 60 mile round trip and don't fancy going if they don't have stock so wanted to have a look first. I could also phone, but then I might get a numpty on the other end that understands less than I do, like in currys, halfords etc etc.
  2. Hi, I'm heading to Maplin shortly to get some resistors to trick the car to think that there are airbags in the seats after changing them. I need 2.2 ohm, 0.25 or 0.5 watt, but I don't understand the jargon on the Maplin site. Could someone with more knowledge than me have a look and point me to them please? :-) http://www.maplin.co.uk/buy-components/resistors Thank you!
  3. You can get pre facelift ones pretty cheap in eBay if you just want new, there are also horrible aftermarket ones there too from the states and OZ. but, if you have the dosh, pm Alex for a set of facelifts

    help asap

You're telling me! Few years back there used to be 3 shells within 5 miles and the tesco down the road used to have their 99, but since then all shells have pulled out of Northern Ireland and they've become BP's who now don't do the 101 or 103, whatever it was and tesco have placed 95 stickers over what used to be 99 :shrugs: I've no idea why, there are plenty of performance cars about here that should be on 98+

Car runs fine on 97, of course if you happen to live somewhere that tesco has its super or shell then yes, go 99, but not everyone has this luxury. The nearest 99 I can get would involve about 50+ miles of driving and a 2 hour ferry ride.
  6. Oh well, I thought I was onto something there Going to get those pictures for you today, i've just been lazy because of the rain.
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tein-Bonnet-Damper-Nissan-350Z-Z33-/261170364174?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item3ccef77f0e Not the perfect shade, but, MEH!
  8. Not because I'm going anywhere, Ekona, I want to upgrade my early 04's. I have 1 passenger side and the drivers side are like hens teeth. Alex unfortunately only sells in pairs so it might be an option to source one from the states which is much much cheaper, £250 for brand new plus customs and vat.
  9. Major revive here, but does anyone know if this is the same for the 06 facelift lights?
  10. These https://m.facebook.com/cincitydesigns?id=96471546452&_rdr#!/photo.php?fbid=96482121452&id=96471546452&set=a.96479936452.88542.96471546452&__user=688690004 would be amazing on my car. I wonder if I should take a bash at doing it myself. Buy a cheap non working 06+ lamp and give it a go. Anyone any idea how it's done? Looks like they cut out the raised bits around the lense as well as the groves in the sides and fit something inside? I'd love to have them do it, but the £600 price tag that Wasso said he priced up is a bit steep for a few lights.
  11. Well I already have a Spoiler to go on and I think it would look weird without a front lip, then i'll need skirts because it'll look weird with the other 2 lol
  12. Nice, not super cheap though, compared to traders here to jump on it... Infact I'd almost say it was bought from a trader here
  13. The hid kit will most likely cone with bulbs which are nearly unique, they look like HIDs but have 2 wires coming from them and a connector. And D2S bulbs are for the later BiXenon lamps.
  14. Damn! And I'm betting making just a couple would either cost us a fortune or not be worth your while?
  15. I thought you weren't going to make this one because its kind of like the others available?

    GTR Factory

I was going to suggest before watching the video or reading all comments that its possibly about bedding the car in, suspension, gearbox etc, but if they're ragging the life outta it before you get it :shrugs: Isn't it the same with the M3, M5 and M6?
  17. Every days a school day! Now find one to explain the difference between 1.5 and 2 way lol
  18. Yes mate that's my point, I thought about doing something similar in the past with the boot but just couldn't work
  19. Haha no worries, need to get a few bits resprayed first anyway, no point polishing a bubble.
  20. Ah the JDM don't have the gap for the ballast on the bottom? I think it's just one and it's located near the rear p/s wheel, but might be wrong. Technically you'll also need headlight washers too to be completely legal
