  1. And most people put 25mm spacers on those, so only 12mm further, which would look good with a tiny bit of stretch. Don't tease me anymore
  2. Was considering these since they appeared on eBay, but I really want to hold out for some 19's with more of a dish than Grids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rota-Grid-All ... _500wt_922
  3. +1 Had this done to mine a few months back, cost me £40 and about an hour of my time.
  4. I was a bit worried about that too, but after calculating that I should be able to get another 40ish miles, I filled up with 72 litres which mean there was just under 2 gallons in the tank and the computer said I was doing 20.9mpg. Pretty accurate, accurate enough for me to work from for the time being anyway
  5. Thats what I do, reset both the mpg and trip A computer on fill up, then multiply the average mpg by 17.5 then subtract what it says on trip A = miles left Of course it would be much handier to print out the guide on fixing the issue and perform it, but i'm way too lazy for that right now
  6. Have you been drinking the fuel again Graham? 10p off a litre at 79 litres is £7.90 in my book? Or did you have a hole in the tank and put 300 litres in! I would take a look at those pain killers your taking mate! He said his vouchers arrived, so he could have had all 5 totaling 50p off per litre Oh yea, and the most i've got in was 72.08, but my gauge is about 15 litres out so it's pretty much guess work from when ever the computer goes "-- --"
  7. Also despite the fact that those lights are made for driving on the wrong side of the road, you will also lose your HiD's and be back in the year 2000 with yellow beams
  8. Looks great mate, and you make it sound so easy
  9. That's some awesome work there, will look great when you tint them so that the LED's are less visible when off
  10. Or do it in the car with the A/C on full blast?

    P3 Estimate

Are those prices including VAT? Even if they wern't If my car was standard i would bite there hand off for prices that low. Yes that's the full price. I know a mechanic there so specifically requested that he work on the car and I got my P3 for about £150. Still looking for an indy with more knowledge of the car, though, for more technical things that may need doing in the future.
  12. Great offer. I`ll see if thats possible, only have my Zed a few weeks, and dont know anyone local with a zed, haven't got much drive time in my Zed either as i have a misfire issue , waiting patiently inline to get it to a mechcanic i eventually found who knows his way around a zed engine. Thats a great idea, there are a few of us here that would probably like a proper custom map from Abbey, but getting a date to suit all would be difficult. I could probably get hold of a dyno pretty reasonably prices as my mate is building a turbo skyline for drifting ATM and is in the know of a few guys on the drift ni forum and could probably get a discounted price for us. However, I personally would like to get my engine mods done first before the map and that could take a bit of saving. Exhaust and Pop Charger for noise and a Plenum spacer to hopefully counter any possible HP loss from the Pop Charger vs a high flow drop in. Post up on the NI section and see if you can get a few names then give Mark a shout with numbers to get a rough price for him coming over etc. If needs must I could probably take the hit on the credit card and get the mods done asap to get the up rev as it'll be my only chance probably.

    P3 Estimate

    P1, P2, P3 £170, £230, £250 That's my local Nissan. They also do a 3 year service plan for about £400 which in my case will be a 1-2-1
  14. Surely that information comes from the car to tell the seats to move forward a bit?
  15. I'm looking for something similar over here since there are no uprev dealers, although, I think I can recall one of the uprev traders here talking about some guy from Dublin that might be able to do it? Not sure I want to go the remote up rev route that Abbey could do because I'm sure the results achieved with the car there on the dyno, will be better and can achieve a more customised tune.

    Front tow cover

Well, I took my car to Nissan Howden (Brian Leighton Garage) on 14/07/2012. They took photos, and submitted to HQ. Got a phone call today, the claim has been declined. As there is no hole, they won't cover the repair costs. The garage have offered me a repair/respray at £300+vat. As I've got a couple of light scratches here and there, I'm going to get them all touched up too. Good that they got back so quick to you, I'm still waiting. Maybe will take a run down tomorrow morning or something to see how things are going. Is £360 a good price for a bonnet respray? I'm sure you could get it done somewhere else for cheaper? No?
  18. Mate has the same problem with the womans BMW, he has to take it for a good blast to Belfast and back on the M1 (28 miles each way) to get the light off. To me this kind of destroys the point of them lowering emissions when you have to drive an extra 60 miles in one gear lower to get the light to turn off, thus raising your carbon footprint because you wouldn't be doing that extra drive otherwise
  19. +1 If it's not a Zed burger, take this opportunity to get one off of eBay because sometime the badges can be bitches to get off.

  21. Was reading the amazing F430 replica thread posted in the "Other Cars" section and browsed a bit through the website, only to find this: http://www.gtspirit.com/2012/06/09/buga ... nta-again/ Make of it what you will
  22. I can't see perfectly in the picture, but maybe it's just the lacquer thats cracked top side? If it is, there may be a way to re-lacquer it or remove the existing stuff and reapply new lacquer
  23. Holy crap! These things are expensive! Only place I could find that had it was looking £560 +tax, customs and shipping

    Photoshop Request

For some reason I think green makes the wheels look smaller how about black with red lip/ken block style on the rear and gun metal on the front?
  25. Although I can't help with your problem, but I don't think it will be repairable due to the hole on the bottom and it's not like you can just patch up CF with filler, I quite like that lip, not seen it before, you any idea what type it is?
