  1. I've still got my S5 from a few years ago and it's still as good as it was when I bought it. Might get an S7 when the S8 comes out, but gone are the days when you need a new phone every year. It seems like a total waste of money for very little improvement. There's no real innovation from Apple, especially when their recent adverts are claiming they have invented moving pictures and a keyboard for a tablet. Fairly sure short videos have been around for a while as well as keyboards... MS Surface. Maybe I'm getting old, but I'm much more interested in innovation or value for money. Neither of which are offered by the latest smart phones.
  2. 14-16k based on similar age, spec and mileage on Autotrader. Get a chunk knocked off for the seat or look elsewhere would be my advice.
  3. It also brings it up if you Google Torqen phone number... C-
  4. The 370 Nismo is a nice car, but I wouldn't pay over 35k for one. A Boxster would be nicer in almost every way, with the exception of rarity.
  5. Yes. The facelift bumper is on Rev Up and HR versions. The 06+ reflectors are usually more expensive though, so not all bad.
  6. It does seem silly, but like a bad refereeing decision, it's unlikely to be reversed. You surely should be getting 3 points every time you drive into someone or something as that is also driving without due care and attention.
  7. Yeah, if you knew the tyres might be slippery, then that's still driving without due care.
  8. It absolutely isn't a myth. I spun mine up really badly when pulling away from the garage when I had my rear tyres replaced. I looked like a right d!ck and it was totally unintentional. (Although my friends and people who know me would say I looked like a d!ck regardless of how I am driving).
  9. They have to try make a profit somewhere. You can't be too hard on them for that, especially if you look at almost all other Nissan prices, where the traders are usually significantly cheaper.
  10. I also got PM'd as I did go for a test drive when it was for sale originally. Like me, the new buyer realised the car was a track beast, but absolutely no good as a daily, which is what we both needed. I'm glad my head won the should I, shouldn't I...
  11. I'm fairly certain I paid £280 for mine from a Trader, so definitely worth checking around. This was a couple of years ago though, so may have increased since then.
  12. Eep, looks like a bad one... glad you're ok though.
  13. I've stopped using Rain X on the front screen as it clouds almost straight away when using wipers. Still use it on the rear as it's not so important vision wise. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the GT C5 as I've been meaning to get some for a while.
  14. Lovely car Andy and a much nicer colour than brown! Very envious indeed!
  15. I do like these... a lot... very capable little car, but they aren't interesting to look at. Most people couldn't tell the difference between the 235i and a 218d which for me is a bit of a turn off. I'd have gone for the GTR and bought a warranty.
  16. Not George, but looks to be his old car http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-GT-V6-3-5L-Nismo-Bodykit-20-alloys-/172272755129?hash=item281c41a1b9:g:8toAAOSwRJ9XhrIJ
  17. Ask the 250 people killed in Baghdad the other week...
  18. Who are you going to crusade against though? Apart from a few pockets in Syria and Iraq it's almost impossible to identify ISIS (Or any other terrorist who uses Islam as a reason to commit violent acts). Unless you are holding an entire country / race / religion responsible for these acts?
  19. I'm guessing that's due to how sensibly the porker makes you want to drive?
  20. That would be a cheap quote for just the labour.
  21. Not really long term, but I was in Hospital for 5 days a few years ago with severe abdominal pain (Turned out to be duedonitis). I needed morphine just to be able to sit still and they would come round and fob me off with paracetamol even though I was clearly unable to eat or sleep due to the pain. The single worst 5 days of my life... the final straw being a wander around the hospital at 2am, whilst wheeling my empty drip, looking for a nurse so I could beg them for some water. I am genuinely psychologically scarred from the experience. I'm guessing proper pain killers are expensive which is why they don't hand them out readily. Luckily they gave me some tramadol when the discharged me, but I had to wait 8 hours for the pharmacy to bring them as they tried sending me home with some paracetamol... I hope you get sorted out mate, there's nothing worse than being in pain and people not taking you seriously or wanting to help. I now pay for Bupa, such is my fear of having to go back on the NHS.

    Nismo tyre size

Yep, both Nismo variants are: (front) 245/40 R19 (rear) 285/35 R19
  23. I thought / have read that the limiting factor was the plenum chamber? Increasing the TB or intake tube wouldn't increase performance if the bottleneck is the plenum? I have no doubt that you know more about this than me, but all the articles and threads I have read where larger TB's have been installed, there has been little to no evidence of performance gains?
