  1. Sounds wild and looks a handful to drive
  2. It seemed a good idea at the time ae! I've just realised that to remove the indicator clusters to do them is a bumper off job so won't be tackling them this summer
  3. You've just talked me into not doing it Just the standard, I did toy with that idea but have now ordered a set of LEDs and will put a tint film on them. So just the indicators and reverse lights to worrie about now
  4. I'll take some If I o down the route of trying to remove it. That was my worrie that after all these years it will be brittle, break up and leave the lights in a mess. Hmm don't know if its going to be worth the hassle or if I'd be better buying new lights
  5. I'm planning on removing the fly eye stuff from my rear lights as it looks naff up close and collects a lot of crap. Its been on them for about 5 years. Anyone any experience of removing this after a long time? Is this going to be a ball ache? any lasting damage? I've not got a lot of time off work just now so wan't to have a rough idea if its worth attempting or not.
  6. Great way to deal with the pesky rear arch rust, would have saved a fortune on getting a bodyshop to do it
  7. Not arguing about it mate, I'm only going with what I seen on the test screen & what the two testers said. Hopefully they've just had a bad update or something and it will be 0.3 on what ever garage I take it back to next year.
  8. A bit north I'm afraid, Sunny Scotland
  9. Apprently not with the latest software update its been lowered to 0.2% I watched the screen on the live readings in two different garages and both of them said 0.2 was the pass mark.
  10. Finally we have an Mot! Changed the rear droplinks out while it was off the road since they were an advisory. Then the car went to stainless creations to get the old knackred sports cats cut out and new 400cel removable cats made up along with de cats. Once removed the old cats had signs of a good roasting and were badly damaged. New cats fitted for mot then straight up the road to swap them out to keep them good. Expensive Mot thanks to CO2 emissions!
  11. I've been looking at this kit as we've had alot of breakins and cars getting nicked lately up our way. Good to hear a real review and see some real screen shots
  12. I did the lower front ones. I bought a cheap tool from ebay after my G clamp went with an almighty bang. It did the job. The kit didn't come with a fitting that was a good fit for pressing the new ones in so I ended up very roughly making a adaptor for it. I think a 2" AF socket might also be a half decent fit but mine were mega tight so wanted even pressure all around when pressing it in, this could be nonses but i'm sure I used that big socket at sompoint during this task
  13. The CO2 limit for my year of zed has been lowered from 0.3 to 0.2 I only know this as I've been having a nightmare getting an mot due to emissions.
  14. Glad you posted that as I was heading straight to google
  15. Looks like a good effort, especially for your first time! I've got a few bits to take care of but I've not got the bottle to try it myself. well done
  16. I'm going to guess not many people will have done this red neck mod
  17. Possibly one of the nicest bucket seats i've seen. Classy and not too in your face
  18. I can't believe they sell a kit that requires this much work to get to work! However your the right man for the job and has made this an interesting read along with your other projects

    photobucket p500

All pics are restored which is a bonus. I emailed back after a few drinks saying. Too late, you've f*cked it! people have moved on. I got an automated response at first, then a proper one pleading that things have changed and pleading to comeback & that things have changed
  20. Just seen how cheap this repair was via your other thread! if anyone knew the code for paint for the orange seats that would be magic?
  21. That looks like its holding up well. My seats need a little TLC but just keep falling down the list of things to do
