Hope this is the right section, wasn't sure if it should be in technical section or here. Need a few chips and a scuff sorted so if anyone knows of any bodyshops near me then that could you please give me details so i can get quotes. Plus if anyone knows of any detailers near me then could you give me their details so i could get the car a good once over once its had the chips and scuffs sorted. Thanks

Just got the plugs and belts from alex aswell to do my own service same as coldel apart from the brakes as they've been done lately. so busy day tommorow

I'm not a member of the AA so nothing for me, I've lost the bit of paper with his quote but it was about £480, autoscratch.co.uk quoted me £90 over the phone for the scuff and said they would do the chips for free seems too cheap to be of a good quality work. anyone used them? or does anyone know any good body shops in the area as google doesn't throw up too much. Could do with a good polish from someone who can actually do it unlike me so any local valets i would be intrested in knowing about. Cheers

Finally got myself a zed! not got any pics yet but will get it clean and the few chips and scuff sorted and will be servicing it tomorrow hopefully if the weather holds up. Still getting used to it but so far its a beast to drive So waiting on chips away giving me a quote, If anyone knows of any companies local to falkirk that are any good? From this to this All serviced now just need a new air filter, paint sorted and a good polish and wax

I'll drop zmanalex a message later if he doesn't see this thred, by that time i should have a better idea of what i need. I forgot about the belts! How much are the two belts roughly? and are they hard to fit? I wasn't sure if the diff and the gearbox used the same oil so thats handy that they do.

Hi folks, In the negotiation stages of getting a zed, it needs a few touch ups and a full service so want to get prepaird and take advantage of opie oils sale if the sale gets wrapped up tonight. Its an 04 reg with 55k and a full service history. Had a look through the paperwork but it doesn't state whats been done at the services brake fluid,coolant, sparkplugs etc. From what i've read the spark plugs should have been done at the last service but they wern't on the receipt so will just do them anyway to be sure. I've had a look on opie oils as I used them when servicing my type r so trust what they list as suitable and the amount required, But thought its always safe to double check with the people in the know. So if you's could reccomend whats best i'd appreciate it. So from my reaserch i'll need; Engine oil, 5L and some for top up? & filter Gearbox oil 3 or 4L? Diff fluid, 1.5L? 6 Spark plugs brake fluid, no idea how much coolant, 9L i think? Has an induction kit so will pick up a new cone when i ge the size's for it Anything i've forgot? Thanks for any help guys

Looked at a car today and think i may go ahead with it, just needs a scuff and a few stone chips repaired and the bose head unit changed at sompoint as it skips when cold and the left speakers cuts out every now and then. That would just leave me to do the 55k service which i would do my self. I'm sure i read here that a member on here can do free HPI checks and wondred if he could do one for me on this car SL 04 BHF. thanks if you can

Seen car today, looks pretty good apart from the scuff and chips but will probibly ask the seller to get them fixed as part of the sale deal. Bose unit has the usual fault with skipping when cold and ocasional left speakers cutting out so may need that replaced in the future. Due a service in 1000miles so would do that myself. have to mull it over and make a decison soon

A scuff on the rear arch and a few stone chips are the bad points so nothing too drastic. quote to fix chips and scuff for £110 so would get that done if sale went ahead.

Mine has a Miltek and Pop Charger and its in the for sale section Haha, unfortunatly yours is silver and post 06 so not what i'm looking for.

Its about £1k more than i want to pay but i would only end up spending that on a stock car to put on a exhaust, induction kit and rear spoiler so still unsure what to do. think i might just leave it and be patient so see what else comes up.

Is it possible to get them wrapped or sprayed to match the car for a decent price? as the car has an exhaust, induction kit and rear spoiler all of which i would like to have on my Z. I think the carbon bonnet looks a bit too fast and the furious for me. However its looks good and sounds nice. Just not sure if its worth getting and gettign the bits coloured or wait on an other Z and save the money to do the mods myself.

Yeh that looks good, Doesn't say where it is though and ideally it would be from a trader so i can part exchange my car to save the hassel of trying to sell it. Would be ideal if one like that appeared in a local dealer to save me spending money on modding it when i get it. the sunset one was sold today so back to waiting on one coming up. the silver and gun metal is growing on me but i would need to see them in the flesh to decide if i prefer them over the sunset orange.

Still no email from them about its details. Glad i'm in no rush to get a car. How much should I be looking to pay for a 2003/2004 model? I've seen a few gun metal and silver ones that i like but would prefer a copper coloured one, sunset orange? is that the right name for that colour?

I phoned them to find out more about and the salesman said he would email me the details, as i'm working and even if I wasn't they wouldn't be getting my number as can't be bothred with them chasing me up all the time telling me theres someone else wanting to buy it if i don't buy it now. Off on friday so might pop in then and have a look. just wondred if a previous owner had been a member on here.

After fitting one to my ctr and loving the sound, it will be on my list of mods to do when I find a good 350z. Good to know its not crazy expensive either

Why is it called a pop charger and not just an induction kit like it is for every other car? Looks and sounds good though

Hi, I'm new to the 350z scene and i don't actully own one yet but I am on the look out for a nice copper colored 350z, probibly one of the older ones due to price. Currently have a civic type r which is running like a dream so in no hurry to mak the swap. Just joined the forum the now so i can try and get clued up on all the specs,common faults and termanologie of the car. So expect plenty of questions in the future. Thanks all
