    haha I was hoping you'd chip in with your experience. I'll get some ordered up next time i'm stocking up Yep done / do all of that. Unfortunately the black just exaggerates everything. The plan is to get a good glaze and use that between polishes when required. To be honest 9/10 people don't really notice it but because i'm up close washing,drying, etc I see it and it bugs me.

    I'm peaking too early in it, I've won the works league on the last game of the season two years on the trot having never been top of the league all season

    Turtle wax was my go to back when I was using a sponge and brush to clean cars I've found now I keep going back to ez car care products. Pretty good mid range and easy to use plus works out cheap if you hold off for a sale which they have often. Their arctic snow foam is the best I've tried over the years Soft99 wax was new to me this year, trialed it on the audi earlier in the year and its still going well Desperately need a good easy to use glaze for black cars as despite my best efforts the audi is turning back into swirl city Never getting a black car again!

    Loving the forward planning by giving yourself access holes I'm forever cursing designers who make stuff but don't consider access for maintenance when at work.

    My whiteline are 2 part and they are fine. Were they a slack fit when pressing them into the arm?

    Apologies! My poor camera skills, I'm needing lessons from Lee. I'm sure I've got a proper wide view one that one of you guys took or it was on a facebook page, I just can't find where I saved them all so I can transfer them all to my laptop.

    Idler pulley swapped out and new rear LED lights fitted A wee visit to knockhill, first meet for donkeys! so was nice to put faces to cars

    Its does look pretty similar size and layout to the standard exhaust so you might get away with OEM cats. Best bet would be if someone local had a spare or old cat they could lend you and you could take your decat off and compare them side by side before you commit to buying Cats that won't fit.

    I've always had an itch for a scooby or evo, I just need to convince the mrs to ditch the big luxo barge and swap it for one of them haha.

    Later the better, I have a party sat night Might be worth PMing folk for phone numbers to set a whats app group or something to help sort the convoy out, easy to keep up to date with whats happening on the day aswel with that if there are any late changes or people get lost etc.

    I'd say its been the best world cup for a long time. Plenty of upsets. Got to love that the refs are letting the tackles fly in, it has cut all the annoying diving and soft fouls right down.

    I'd swap that out for 10W40 and compare the usage. But I'd also wait until someone smarter than me backed this up

    A wee clean Then off to pro grip to get the alignment sorted. Only drove in traffic since its been done so not felt the benefits yet but turn in feels better already. Happy now that there is no more outstanding jobs on the car to do other than the idler pulley but that is a 5 min job i've just not got round to yet. Time to save up the pennies to get stone chips & arch rust sorted now

    The ball joints I fitted were non OEM and were the right size. I'd hardly say zmanalex is an idiot, he knows more about these cars than the service manual!

    Have you tried switching up to a thicker oil? What kind of miles are you doing? Driving it hard a lot? If there are no obvious leaks Its most likely burning it assuming its not leaking into your coolant
