  1. Never used any sealants over the past 15 years of ownership. Just weekly washing, with a quick 30 second polish inside and out every month. Even though they may still "look" shiny after a month or two of just washing, the polishing little but often just keeps them smooth and shiny with minimal effort meaning never needing hard scrubbing or wire wool. I suppose any of the popular metal polishes would work for light duties. I've had good results with Autosol and Megs Metal Polysh like this.
  2. Good to hear. Can't beat a FREE fix
  3. g5UQIF3Euu0 I always find it helps to watch this as you do it to get the timing right
  4. I can see somebody can't wait for new Nismo wheels to arrive
  5. In a time when Mercs/BMs/Audis are everywhere........THIS is something special! Nice job LRF4N
  6. Have a great day guys. Lots of photos will be greatly appreciated as I'm on daddy taxi duties tomorrow. A WHOLE day at Cheshire Oaks
  7. ^Nicely presented wheels and tyres make all the difference
  8. Oooooo.... lovely pics Welcome to the OC
  9. Welcome back to the OC . What car did you have before returning to a Zed?
  10. I reckon you should get an honorary award for the most spots
  11. Welcome to the OC. Keep an eye out on the OC for owners selling up. There'll probably be alot of history on the forums of their cars comings and goings if they're active members. You'll get a much better idea of how well the car has been looked after than reading an ad on auto trader from an unknown seller
  12. Welcome to the club and zed ownership. Hope you get your niggles sorted smoothly. Look forward to seeing more of you and your zed on the OC
  13. Wiper arms looking . Mine is an 05 too and the arms are starting to bubble at the bases. May have to add that to my list.
  14. Welcome to the OC Car looks great to me
  15. My local Longlife exhaust centre can supply Scorpion. I'll head down and see what they think to the condition of my old one. If they think it's got alot of life left I may get the flange and flexis repaired. If not I'm ordering the Scorpion. Any drone at motorway speeds like the Cobras Andre D?
  16. So many cars have turbo charged engines now, but when those 5 little letters adorn the rear of a 911........you know it's something a little more special. Love how they've stamped it on the center dial too
  17. I don't think I've seen interior pics of this....hint hint
  18. Followed you into Costco car park. Parked as close as I could but by the time I got out you were off like a shot so fast you didn't even hear me holla after you
  19. Car looking mean "ready for fight" in that pic. Zeds really take to wheel upgrades well. Nice concaveness going on there . Look forward to seeing more of your zed in future threads.
  20. Mainly wanted to retain the length of the tips. Just love the proportions of the OEM ones
  21. Cheers ^ You got a good memory to pull that up. Looks good. Gonna PM Andre D to see if he's got any more side profile pics
  22. I'm considering one of these as they appear to be almost identical to the OEM tips. Invidia and Cobra tips look alot shorter than OEM despite being available with rolled tips. But all I have seen are the standalone exhausts. Would appreciate if any members have one, of they could post up pics.
  23. Zed just came back from it's 15 year service and MOT. Got an advisory of minor damage to flexi joints and perishing flange between mid pipe and rear silencer. Really like the looks and sound of the old OEM and was thinking of getting it welded/repaired. However if others experience only a short lifespan of such repairs I may look into a Scorpion with rolled tips as these have the most OEM tips I can see online.
