  1. They look SOOOOO much better now
  2. I vote a refurb back to silver with polished lips. With that finish they'd not look out of place amongst the likes of the highly revered Volk GTC/GTS et al
  3. That's one mean creation. The lips alone look wider than the rims on my wife's Mini. Must have alot of people guessing what make it is! Can you imagine if you had one of those flip paints and then got a parking ticket. "Make: UNKNOWN Model: UNKNOWN Colour: UNKNOWN" It would be worth getting a parking fine to get a ticket with those credentials
  4. I remember years ago seeing a pic of the wheels where Mike put a £10 note on them showing off how deep the rear lips were. Put Mick Jagger's lips to shame
  5. In a way it's scary how easy it is to trace someone over the internet these days Good to know you got a car with some good past owners
  6. Like his channel AND his exhaust!
  7. PROPER cinema room build
  8. Wow...... what a find Please keep us updated with lots of pics. If ever there was a car that deserved a set of Nismo LMGT4S, this is it! Got so excited I forgot to say Welcome to the OC
  9. Bayside blue R34 for the win
  10. That looks like a gorgeous place to chill. Loving your headphone holder
  11. I've probably played ony PS3 for a total of 3 hrs in the past 12 months As for punch, the biggest impact has been the BK Monolith Plus subwoofer. Very solidly made ported 500w 12" sub Weighs in at 47kg. Made my old REL q200e look AND SOUND puny.
  12. Now that it's a batcave I can't see anything Retirement project maybe
  13. I use the term cinema room loosely. It's just a room in my cellar with cheap carpet over the concrete floor. Brick walls concealed with unskimmed plasterboard. Half my equipment bought back in the 90s. I moved in 6 years ago. Got a bigger 55" TV and soundbar for the lounge and shifted all my AV gear into the cellar. Put the old 42 inch Panasonic plasma down there. Hooked up to Onkyo sr606 reciever BK Monolith Plus sub KEF Coda 9 fronts KEF Coda 7 rears KEF center Some inherited Q Acoustics 3010 middle surrounds (the old owner left behind in the kitchen enabling an upgrade from 5.1 to 7.1 ) Put some led strip lights in. Was like this for years. Then a few months ago I treated myself to a cheap 1080p £170 projector Apeman LC600 and £30 screen. The lighting hides a multitude of sins. With the main lights on it's like a drunk tart the morning after Anyway, unlike with the plasma, with the projector I couldn't have the led strips on during use due to light pollution. Even with all the lights off, the light from the screen reflected off the walls and ceilings washing out the screen picture. So I shelled out £20 on some matt black paint to turn it into a batcave. Below are 2 pics of the same image with original white walls and the new black. For £20 the improvement in the black levels on the screen are night and day. I've heard using black velvet fabric brings reflections down several notches more! Slowly going through my Blu-ray collection again and spotted this yellow 370 in F&F6
  14. Couldn't believe I didn't spot this at the London street race scene after all these years.
  15. Welcome to the OC Very jealous of your shaded area by the garage. Perfect protection from the sun for a cheeky midday wash and wax
  16. You're like a Zed magnet. I reckon you spot more zeds than anyone else on the OC
  17. Bigphil's..... founder of EastShoreRacing. Sadly no longer with us
  18. Should only be sold on the proviso a bumper tuck is carried out
  19. Indeed. Mike had the Nismo Zorst. Gorgeous finish and noise
  20. After remembering M13KYF Mike's Racing Hart Wheels, I thought maybe a thread to post up old member cars that had something you found distinctive or liked. Gone but not forgotten...... In no particular order Cragus' black beauty
  21. Hi. Those rims and Azure blue bring back memories. Many moons ago, one of the original admin members Mike had an Azure with these rims. He was a top bloke. Met him at a few meets. We even used the same garage for servicing. In silver with a polished lip these rims look OUT OF THIS WORLD! Just click on some of those images above and fall in love with your Racing Harts all over again If it was possible to go back to this finish I would be seriously tempted to never sell them!
  22. Really nice finish on those. I'd even go as far to say "Wheely wheely" good job
  23. Good heads up
  24. TT350 Sent me this link. What a blast. Closest I've seen to a flying car!
  25. Car is looking good, but...... ONLY 1 PIC Such a fine zed with that location showing off multiple light sources and reflections makes more photos posted mandatory
