  1. davey_83 got very good results wrapping his lights with a light tinted film
  2. Welcome to the OC Sounds like this zed has found a safe home, now in the hands of a caring owner
  3. This is one of my favourite 370Zs on the forum. For me it even beats the Nismo in the looks department If Carlsberg sold 370s they'd probably look like this. And that's WITH the current wheels!
  4. Greenlight insurance are offering 15% discount to Detailingworld members, but won't quote on any BMWs or S2000s. https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=294045 They reported paying out 9 times more than they collected in premiums for these cars
  5. Quite a few members are running Nismo LMGT4 rims. These fit the 350z really nicely. The design gives a small lip with the spokes coming back out from the lip to aid in a look that's flush with the bodywork. Also they seem to hold their value well and come resale don't take long to sell on. They pop up now and again used for about £1200
  6. Welcome to the OC Your clutch may have alot of life left. Mine still feels strong at nearly 70k miles and I've seen some owners with alot more than that with the original clutch. I'm with you preferring silver to black wheels.
  7. What a top gesture Stu Happy detailing whoever gets this
  8. Welcome to the OC Is that a Miltek exhaust I spy in the photo? Very clean zed you have there
  9. At 17:40 he gives his summary of why the Zed is the best overall drivers car
  10. Hi, and welcome. If nobody else has the answer, try to send Zmanalex a PM as there's not much he doesn't know about the 350z
  11. Am I the only one who now finds seeing the OEM Bose headunit in place kinda cool. So rare as so many have failed and been replaced. Yet exudes a purposeful appearance in a no nonsense cockpit design. One of the most factory fresh original interiors I've seen on a zed in a long while
  12. Changed from Falken tyres to MPS4S a few weeks ago. Apart from much better wet weather grip I'm also loving the smooth sidewalls. Even the Michelin logo is in a smooth satin finish. Applying tyre dressing is a joy in comparison to dressing the fussy Uniroyal sidewalls.
  13. Saved this^ YouTube video to my Zed playlist. Never know when it'll come in handy
  14. Could be a Japspeed K4 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAPSPEED-3-K4-STAINLESS-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-FOR-NISSAN-350Z-Z33-3-5-03-05-/153160553676
  15. I've had flies set off my alarm a few times so not daft at all. Also sometimes if my battery has gone low it has triggered an alarm on a previous car so that's maybe another culprit.
  16. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AA-Battery-Charger-Maintainer-Batteries/dp/B00DW6RHN2 I've been using the AA one for 5 years now. Zed is used daily but 2 other cars used infrequently so I top them up every few months. My Kia is on charge as we speak It's meant the Bosch S4 battery in my Mini is still going strong after nearly 9 years. But the original battery in my Diesel Kia still died after 8 years despite regular maintenance. Nothing lasts forever I guess. The AA charger is only 1.5 amps so very slow, and won't work if the battery is fully flat but has been reliable for me over past 5 years and was alot cheaper than a Ctek one.
  17. Only ever seen one Zed with a blower sitting on the bonnet. Apparently you can get a K&N blower with dual intakes on a DE that'll give you 422bhp at the wheels as long as you keep the standard exhaust as it gives better "back pressure" It didn't go down well with the car community
  18. Drove alongside an awesome black coupe this morning. Bronze rims with crazy concaveness. Nismo rear wing. The car took off like a jet plane later....... whining noise from the engine was epic as was the exhaust note. It was as if my ears could "feel" the non stop torque as it drove off shifting through the gears as it joined the motorway
  19. Welcome to the OC. I've seen a red and white one local to me a few times. The contrasting body colour definitely looks better in the flesh. Seeing the front in person makes it look lower, wider and meaner
  20. This looked like an epic meet. Many thanks to all l for posting all the photos and video. Looking at them almost gives the feel of being there! Or at least makes me feel more sorry for myself that I couldn't make it
  21. Welcome to the OC If you keep an eye on the for sale section you might get lucky and bag a car to your liking from a forum member. Often you'll get a feel for the history of the owner has alot of posts over the years too a
