  1. I'm sure camskill will be cheaper Stupid question but why are the tyres so expensive? Don't other manufacturers make a more affordable alternative?
  2. On a serious note. Purified water in a bottle. When parked up wet the bonnet. Cat's don't like sitting on WET cars
  3. For the rust try Aquartz iron cut/ ironX Dissolves rust like tardis on tar Had a try myself. See thread viewtopic.php?f=22&t=41303&hilit=aquartz

    SPEED BUMPS

Been driving a V1 kitted zed for past 5 years. Never scraped on a speed bump, but tiny scrapes a few times on underside of front lip going into some drives where the road dips as it reaches the kerb then that kinda doubles the severity of the incline of the slope where the kerbs were dropped sloping upto the drive.........if you get my drift
  5. I really like night shots of the Zed I find it difficult tweaking the settings on my compacts limited manual mode especially in scenes with lots of different light sources, but your results look ace
  6. For a real in depth oil analysis for the 350z look up OIL ANALYSIS thread on my350z.com by RESOLUTE. After reading many pages I opted for Mobil 1 0w40. Despite being a 40 weight it is thinner than most 40s and closer to a 30. The 0w rating makes it lower viscosity on ultra cold starts than a 5w which is a good thing. Easily available at your local Cosctco for under £30 for 5litres
  7. I've got 19's on standard suspension and it looks good/fine to me......unless I park next to someone at a meet with a lowered zed A belated happy birthday by the way 19's would be a nice birthday treat to yourself
  8. Baby No 1 is 2&1/4 and mum is expecting another baby in April. Mum drives a drives a mini and me the Zed. Everyones betting that my Zed's days are numbered BUT I AM A STUBBORN GIT. We'd all fit in the mini with the pram with no boot space left. For a big family shopping trip we'd have to take both cars. Wife said mini ain't going So 2 cars is it is coz I ain't parting with the zed Together with all the detailing the neighbours gonna think I'm proper bonkers
  9. Great news. The both of you sound very laid back
  10. Feel bad for my 2yr old.........she doesn't understand where everything has gone
  11. How about something a wee bit 'retro'? You may be around same age as me and its already one of your staples....its 16 years old but can't beat Leftfield's LEFTISM album Can't choose a favourite track off the album its impossible Cheers Vik for the recommendation. Looked them up and recognised "melt".....Just ordered the album ps sorry for going off topic.......back to TRON.....put me in the mood for a good drive Saw 9.30pm show on Monday followed by a nice 1hr drive on the empty streets just for fun
  12. You have a very understanding missus there Wayne. My missus is getting fed up of me not using MY ZED and trying to borrow her car when it snows. She even started to talk about getting a third car/shed.

    puncture

I had the same dilemma last year. In the end I changed both and kept the part worn one in the garage in case of a future damaged rear.
  14. I see the numberplate retractor is still going strong. The front end looks real smooth and clean with the plate tucked away
  15. Hi dmc1980 If i ever need info on a scoob i guess you'd be the one to ask Been planting the seed in the missus' head to replace her car with one. Her brother's not keen though and reckons it's too fast a car
  16. Welcome I had a look at E46 330 M Sport in Estoril blue before getting the zed. Beautiful car, but the dealer ignored me and when I finally mentioned he'd seen to two others who came after me he said "sorry, we're too busy to arrange test drives today but if you leave your BUISINESS CARD we'll get back to you" arrogant so and so. Put me right off, which is a shame, coz 5yrs on I still love the look of them with the front and rear spoilers. Post up some pics and let me reminisce HEADPHONES
  17. Love the pics with the light shining through the wheel lighting up the inside of the rim
  18. Found it hard going through this thread coz it brought back such strong feelings when they discovered that my dad's cancer had metastasised/spread to his lymph nodes. By some miracle he's still here a couple years later. Your dad's lucky to have such a loving family close by.
  19. Had me in stitches did Ronnie Corbett Esp the end gag
  20. I was at the lights one night. Had my foot on the brake pedal. Looked in my rearview and saw what looked like one of the red neon "baddies" in the car behind The bloke was wearing a tracky top with reflective piping glowing red from my brake lights
  21. Stay in touch. Not envious at all with the thought of my Zed stuck on the drive while you hoon about in the snow
  22. Congrats on your purchase. I bet you can't wait for this dreadful freeze to disappear and give her some beans
  23. Initially read this on my mobile's tiny screen and didn't get it Now on my pc and see the whole picture........devils in the details
