  1. Owner probably wanted to keep it after seeing your results. Wonder how much he/she would have lost on it without the detailing work?

  10. Soooooo tempted to get decent I.C.E upgrade after reading this thread But I can't be trusted with the volume control Had amps and a 15" sub back in the days. Irresponsible usage resulted in tinnitus. SO GUTTED, GAVE IT ALL AWAY FOR FREE . Luckily a few months later and the tinnitus went
  11. Looks like someone sat on the bonnet......AND LEFT A BUM IMPRINT ON IT

  13. How many miles you done since putting it on the calipers? Does it withstand the high temps OK? If it's durable I reckon you may need to contact the suppliers and warn them of a deluge of orders to come Have a round of applause for a great find
  14. The pics really show off the sunset a treat
  15. Next time inform all camper owners that you will be paying for all "camper's" dough-nuts. When they arrive point to the car park, point to their camper vans and say "show me your dough-nut and i'll show you the money"
  16. I find it hard to get photos to do sunset's justice, but those of us in the know can revel in the orange glow after a detail On a side note is it just my 350z or do others rear wiper only lift an inch from the rear screen? Yours seems to be much further off........makes changing the wiper easier. Now I'm jealous
  17. Without seeing the reg plates you'd never guess it was a 7yr old car. LOOKS MINT

  21. Final pic showing the paint after rinsing thoroughly and drying. I repeated the process twice and left to dwell about 5 mins each time as my paint was PEPPERRED. The car was bought new in 06, always washed with 2BM using MF mitts and towels. Clayed twice a year and treated with SRP, Gloss Gaurd and collinite but still succumbed to "yellow acne" Seeing this work rates up there with seeing clay and Tardis work for the first time. Saying that I've not seen the same yellow spots on my sunset 350z in 5 yrs of ownership but when i have time I'll try it on the 350z to see if any PURPLE runs off
  22. Finally used the AQuartz iron cut today. Attached 3 pics showing paint after a wash. After spraying on the product it reacts with bonded iron particles turning purple. After dwelling for a few mins you can see it running off the paint.
  23. I had this problem last weekend. They layed new tarmac near work. Some kind cat with tarred feet walked all over my car. Big thick pawprints Clay wouldn't shift the really thick bits. Soften with WD40, wiped, then clayed residue. Paint felt like glass but still marks left. Used an AIO sealant/cleanser (Carlack NSC) and the jobs a goodun So a combination of all the recomendations worked for me.
