  1. I'll be honest I was genuinely surprised at such a poor valuation, but on the other hand the only reason I'm selling it is running costs so maybe it is to be expected the way things are now. My last car was high powered and petrol and it was a bloody nightmare to sell private, so maybe I will just bite the bullet and do the part ex. Still, £2.5k is a bitter pill to swallow!
  2. Hi, Even though I love it it, I've decided to sell the 350z for something a little more frugal I've been offered a part ex of £5.5k against a £14k car, but I'll be honest this seems really low. I've checked eBay and trader and most are priced above this, but if they are actually selling or not at these prices is a different matter. This is the second time in so many days I've been offered this price by two separate dealers. Heres the spec: 2004 350z with GT pack and Birdview sat nav, UK CAR Manual 64k mileage 5 owners Gunmetal silver Black powdercoated Rays FSH but service due (last was a P3) 6 months tax 3 months MOT Custom made (like for like for standard) exhaust 350z genuine floor and boot mats Fantastic condition inside and out and 100% mechanically sound, stone chips on front bumper and thats only negative really. Bought for £8k a year ago, in real world terms I was expecting £6.5k What do you guys think? Cheers
  3. Fair enough....if £6k is right though I paid well over odds for mine then!
  4. This seems like a great deal on face value if anyone is looking..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-NISSAN-3 ... 43a8a9dc67
  5. Just wanted to throw a quick shout in for a garage I use in Burnley. Graham who owns DCMS has been working on my cars for the last year now and I can genuinely recommend him for any jobs you may need doing. He did loads of work on my MR2 tubby and did a great job at the right price. Yesterday he did the rear axle grease fix to stop the clicking on my zed and again I was really happy with the work. Maybe not the right place for servicing (I use lockwood and greenwood manchester) as he is not a zed specialist as such, but certainly worth a look for any other jobs you may need doing. He is also a powerflow authorised outlet. He quoted me £450 all in for a bespoke catback system btw. I believe he used to be well into the 200sx scene and is recommended through those forums if you wanted to check him out.
  6. Its just the front mats I am after but thanks anyway PM Sent
  7. Is this still available? Would be interested in making an offer, I just need to get to 5 posts so I can send you a PM
  8. Looking for a set of genuine mats, second hand not a problem as long as they are in decent condition. Thanks
  9. Cheers for the welcome Loving the car and nice to know there is a great forum to discuss all things Z related....Glad to be aboard!
  10. Ahh, are you the chap from Blackpool by any chance? He mentioned someone else was interested but I always take that with a pinch of salt Apart from the whirring noise (which Ive posted a question in general about), really happy with the car overall. I was tossing up between an e46 M3 and one of these but defo think I made the right choice! It has got a major service coming up too, but I factored this this when making the offer ;-)
  11. Hi, Just joined the forum and wanted to immediataley pick your brains! Basically when travelling along in any gear, if I remove my foot completely from the accelerator and let the car decelerate, when it hits 2500 revs I can hear a whirring noise. This only happens around this rev range and immediately disappears should I put my foot back on the gas or press in the clutch. Never owning one of these before I am curious if this is normal? I doubt it to be honest, but always prefer to be a little better informed before I approach a garage. Thanks
  12. Hi, Picked up my 04 350z yesterday and am officially in love. I've yearned for one of these cars for years and am chuffed to bits that I finally own one, especially as I found a fully loaded model. Spec: 2004 350z 55k GT Pack inc Birdview 18" Rays refurbed and black coated RS tuning remap to 290bhp Better pics to follow when I have given it a wash Couple of minor things need sorting out but all in all its a minter!
