Almeida1234 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) I thought I create a thread about stanced look Not my car but stanced look big in states. So many pot holes in UK it will ruin your car though. My input on the topic http://lower-standards.com/edgars-bagged-2006-350z/ http://fatlace.com/lacedup/2012/08/the-infamous-coverage-part-2/ Feel free to put pics of your car anyone else's Edited July 12, 2014 by Almeida1234 Quote
Lacky Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Second link, first red 350. Looks awesome in my opinion 1 Quote
buster Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 do like the stance and hella flush look.....totally impractical here though Quote
cmr1991 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I am in the process of standard Z hunting to turn into a bit of a show car for our work, and as it will only mainly be shown to customers and at shows - I am looking at going down the "stanced" route. I also like the bright red Z - smoothed wide and low! Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Looks nice if you never want to drive the car anywhere, ever.... you might as well take the wheels off for all the difference up it would make.... Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I still don't get it. It just looks stupid. Yeah look at this wonderful car that can't actually drive anywhere and if it went over 20mph the wheels would all fly off in different directions 1 Quote
Ekona Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 But look how much like a race car it looks with massive camber and super low to the ground oh no wait it doesn't at all Quote
Desey Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 i love stance but it is being ruined by people in crappy 1998 polos with terrible wheels at one point had my Z slammed with camber and can honestly say it was the most exhausting drive ever, put it this way small speedbumps kept knocking my exhaust off Quote
LRF4N Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Low and wide with slight camber looks good. The red zed above sits well Loads of camber and the tyre wall covered by the arch looks daft. Even more camber with the tyre wall and the wheel covered is just gay Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 All show and no go works for me All show and no go, that is you, and I don't mean the car Sent from the golf club... Quote
Wasso Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 In terms of drop and camber this is as far as I'll go. I do 500 miles a week and so I don't want to be eating £1,200 of rubber every 6 months and want to enjoy the car rather than nurse her everywhere. 3 Quote

Yeah that is what I meant about driveable, yes you may have to avoid speed bumps and multi-storeys (who doesn't) but you can use your car everyday Sent from the golf club... Quote
tatooandy67 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Low & wide looks great, I love it as long as it's not ott and is still drivable ...... not a fan of excessive camber and stretched tyres though Quote
