If it looks shite then I'll get it done professionally. I just used 'normal' paint - the same silver I used on my battery and brake covers. Yes the the plenum gets (very) warm, but not hot enough to warrant the use of VHT. Quote
Spatt Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 erm.... whats VHT .. I painted a rocker cover red once and it looked like a bag of....... bit reluctant.. noticed a good thread on painting the throttle body so assuming this is the same stuff thought i would give this a try first Quote
Paddy78 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 VHT = Very High Temperature paint. I'm only using this because I bought it for the BBQ and have loads left. Painting is always something that looks easy, but to get good results you need to prep and make sure you use lots of thin coats. I've got a spare plenum, so if I screw it up it won't be the end of the world. Quote
