phatbloke74 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Will be driving through Europe for a week from Sunday - what's your favourite driving song / album? Quote
phatbloke74 Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 Engine note. That's a definite when going through the Swiss tunnels! Quote
coldel Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Will avoid the boring answer... ...I dont have a set artist - have various songs mostly eighties/nineties! Quote
brillomaster Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Had some Alice Cooper on the other day... couldn't help but put my foot down Quote
coldel Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 This has been done a number of times...do a search - was a good thread called something like 'songs to lose your licence to' Quote
rtbiscuit Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Can't beat a bit of rage against the machine - no shelter with this cranked up high on a good sound system you can;t help but drive hard Quote
scottyd Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 +1 on rage against the machine or dragonforce when you want to get there fast Quote
manphibian Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I would usually say something like Deadmau5 or some Armin van Buuren, but I keep listening to Lana del Rey at the moment I think i'm turning into a fanny Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 House or Hard House or Trance or Hard Trance or STEPS Quote
Bassboyz Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Fleetwood mac ..... The chain.....can't help but floor it Quote
Lexx Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Skindred Now there's an answer I wasn't expecting from anyone else! 'No-body' full volume is the way to go. Seen Benji live many times now. Still one of the best live acts on the planet. Quote

twobears Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Yay, more Skindred fans! Benji is great. If I win the lottery I am going to get him to come and play a gig in my garden. I'll invite you both Brummiestormer, my husband has to go to Germany next week and the airport nearest to where he wants to be is Ramstein (the air base from which Rammstein took their name). Unfortunately, since he's not in the military, he can't actually get a flight there and has to go via Amsterdam and Luxembourg I can imagine driving Mr Zedbelly to the delicate strains of "Feuer Frei" I have to confess Quote
