O and if all goes according to plan we will bolt the gearbox back onto the engine and have our first test fit on Saturday :thumbs:

 

(got to work late tomorrow night and then eat a huge take away so no update on Friday :sorry: )

By the looks of it I'm guessing Suzi's "modification" involved some sort of specialist tool, ...like a hammer? :dry::lol:;)

 

Done the same myself with an old friend when fitting a V8 Rover engine/gearbox into an MGB. Has to be done.

Ever better Gareth when the put a Rover V8 in a TR7 and called it a TR8, had one

 

that car tried to kill me every time I drove it..!! :scare: :scare:

It is quite literally a 1/4 stretch behind the master cylinder that big crease was there before it's the same on the other side - I'll get a pic from in the engine bay on Saturday you won't even be able to tell I did anything.

Great work Chris and cheers for getting her ready for Saturday.

 

Loving the modifying, can't beat a hammer lol.

 

I'll be leaving London 5pm tomo. Hopefully not with 4 accidents en-route :lol:

I leave home on a Friday usually and it's not bad traffic. Last Friday was the worst traffic I've had in a looooooong while!

Last year I went to 3 events up in the Midlands, from Surrey and EVERY time the traffic was terrible 6+ hours to do a 2.5hr journey....................good luck

I put a clown in Wasso's bed last weekend after Mrs K told me he hated them, he discovered it in the middle of the night after drinking a glass of red or two :D:lol:
