Chris, are you sure the hose isn't the wrong way round? part 2 to connect to the slave instead of part 1? pictures are not that clear of the pipe setup

Yes mate, Hose 2 is only 6 inches long and is the bleed line hose one is long enough (just as it's from a LHD kit) to go to the new master cylinder and has a banjo connector fitted to connect to it.

Also the new kit has a push and clip connector with rubber O ring both the ones on the box are threaded so it's just different fitments, hopefully I can get a couple of adapters to do the conversion.

That's SNAIL SPEED!!!

We were busy talking about you behind your back :p

Ok cool, I wasn't doubting you, just wasn't clear in the pictures, sure you will get something fabricated

Evening all and Wasso

So went down to see the boys at Thread and Pipe - we sort have got a solution 50% seems good the other bit did not quite work out so I did a bit of fabricating,

This is what I have

KODC0162_zpsd37b027d.jpg

It is basically a very long bleed nipple, it needs to be remote to allow clutch bleeding after the LS and box goes in the 350 so .....

i cut the end off

KODC0164_zpsabd2b54b.jpg

Drilled it out

KODC0165_zpse4a4283f.jpg

Then welded the new adapter from Thread and Pipe onto the end

KODC0169_zps89086e3a.jpg

Drilled the other end out so it is no longer a bleed valve but now just an extension pipe

KODC0168_zps551fdc6f.jpg

Cleaned it up

KODC0171_zps497a1a42.jpg

bit of paint

KODC0172_zpsa187ae2d.jpg

That's pipe 1 ready - Onto pipe 2 as made by the boys

KODC0163_zps5fb12307.jpg

Bent to shape

KODC0175_zps1fc6586b.jpg

All installed - Inside the box

KODC0176_zps0cf2050e.jpg

coupled to new braided lines

KODC0177_zps45070c61.jpg

Then I pulled the dash apart

KODC0179_zpsa0ea5b82.jpg

and the wiper covers came out

KODC0178_zps288b3654.jpg

All to get at this

KODC0180_zps1028aff2.jpg

Got it out ready to modify the replacement Wilwood with some of the stock parts

More soon(ish)

Good evening, Good evening, Good evening -

No update last night as I was playing on Hissing SID (my 370z for anyone that didn't know)

But tonight I had a play on Suzi :teeth:

So to start I finished the braided line on the clutch slave, just neatened up the outlet,

KODC0195_zpsdcltcvf3.jpg

Then onto the work bench with the rest of the Sikky clutch upgrade kit and the previously removed 350 master cylinder, (and very important cup of coffee)

KODC0188_zpsti39nwk6.jpg

First I took a measurement

KODC0189_zpshdcyssps.jpg

11cm from the face to the center of the pin (noted that down)

then you have to strip both down a bit

KODC0190_zpsjw9vgcgi.jpg

Done  (and some coffee drunk)

Assemble the Wilwood cylinder with parts from the 350 cylinder

KODC0191_zpskn0o3ids.jpg

Done :)

Adjust to the previously noted 11cm on centre

KODC0192_zpsjt7rbydb.jpg

Tighten up, re-join the reservoir with the supplied pipe and adapter

KODC0194_zpsprrwwpeb.jpg

Done

jobs a good un  (coffee finished )

Bolt it into the car what a PITA that is!

Then realise the kit won't fit properly - normal for modifications like this, so I "modified" Suzi's body work a bit

KODC0196_zps4um93b68.jpg

a slight stretch to allow the banjo bolt space to fit - like so -

KODC0197_zpsr9d7onxj.jpg

Finished job looks like this,
