So here it is, after 4 months away, the Z has returned home and here's some pics of the new paint job.

If it were mine I'd be tempted to go for a different colour on the wheels that compliments the purple better, but that's just my opinion, everyone's different.

L4RFAN pics where taken b4 it was cleaned properly.

 

StevoD front wheels need 5mm spacers to clear brembos. Rear are good to go as they are just stick out past the arches about 10mm.

I was given 3 different quotes depending on exactly what I wanted which ranged between 3-5k, But that Included a lot of work ie alloys louvres, bodywork, as well as additional items prepped and painted and also after care.

Good to finally see this finished, looks really good. The lip and skirt combo are subtle but make a big difference, might be tempted to copy you

Other then eyelids, are you doing anything else to the lights?

 

Side emblems are looking a tad out of place. Maybe paint them to match the wheels or door handles?

Lol yeah decided to go a different route with the wheels. Gloss white with a blue pearl. Just looks right. Emblems are indicators but could be a shout doing then the same as alloys. Will see after Japfest.

 

Headlights are the worst part of the entire car. Caused me nothing but problems. I will be binning them the first chance I get but will need facelift ones to replace them with first. May go down the whole iron man mod route to tie in with the marvel theme.

 

Interior will be next on the agenda tho. Anyone got ideas for a good colour scheme?
