theZman101 Posted February 18, 2017 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Hey everyone, I will be the proud owner of 09 black Zed 313 hr comes with gt4 alloys though, fingers crossed next weekend. Dealership been dragging its heels what seems like forever (three weeks so far). Having had to own sensible and economical cars with 4 seat minimum the time finally arrived to buy a real car. So in the last 20 years since i was 20 i started out in a Nova Merit ( yeah i know lol) then a Nova GTE which died after 3 weeks. After that its been Fords and Hyundai's. So not only do i have no clue what to expect i'm pretty sure i'm in for a shock as i'm going from a 52 plate Hyundai coupe 2.7 v6.(Most under powered V6 in history i think but i've loved it nevertheless) to a real V6. But anyway any tips and advice on look after my new addition to the family will be greatly received. Finally i live near Doncaster and to be honest i don't think i've seen another Zed around for the last few months on my way to and from work i keep trying to look out for one so i can smile and say i'll have one soon. I had one around the same time as you, then stuck a 2l 16v engine in it without seam welding the bulkhead joins... needless to say it didn't last long either :-p I never head of a trader dragging their heels before?..... something to double check on before doing the deal perhaps? To make it even better the dealer forgot to mention that it has a full cobra exhaust hahahah not that i can tell the full install type just by looking but it sounds amazing but i think my neighbors are going to hate me leaving for work at 5am.
