Nissan dealers (I nearly fell over)

Popped in to Nissan in Kettering to find out about an updated sat nav disk for a 2007 plate, and they said yes we can do that and that will be £600 please, are these people for real!

Is there a cheaper option to keep the original sat nav set up ?

I just use google maps through my iPhone 6plus and feed the voice directions through the pioneer head unit that plays through the bose system

Got mine from ebay for a fiver, its a copy but works perfectly well. Think they only supported the system up to 2013 but it's good enough for me.

Got the latest version for mine from navigationmaps.co.uk and afterwards drove 3000 miles across Europe and it never steered me wrong once, well worth the £25.00 in my opinion

Facebook search Navigationmaps.co.uk and it should appear, I have a 57 plate HR but I noticed they also sold the update disc for the DE as there was two options for both cars.

I pulled mine out, acquired a standard cubby and modified it to house a tomtom

Only downside is I now need a new head unit to get my reverse cam working again.

Where do Nissan think you're driving to.....Pluto, what a rip. Buy aTom Tom and get a free update every year and junk the OEM thing.
