That's what we do on this forum. It was an offer and if he takes it its up to him. I had the same offer made to me 2 years ago on here over something else and got my money back without leaving the computer. I answered his original post. Not the 16 pages further on. Its certainly a lot more helpful than punching is it not! And a few thousand toward a new engine would be nice.

seriously I have never liked the thought of my baby sitting outside suffering all cold with ice, snow and freezing rain. The thought of sitting there every morning warming it up for 10-15 mins whilst it thaws out surely can't be good on a regular basis. Engines of old especially diesel trucks that we had in the Army could get condensation in the bores. Or so we were led to believe. In WW11 it would be a death sentence in the Russian army to turn an engine off on a tank or truck.

Its the same as any car you leave outside. With the exception they prefer to be in bed with you being kept warm with nice cosy cuddles and a cup of warm oil:) And plenty of presents under the Christmas tree.

My 1st quote and the one I took out with SKY was £1000. approx and took into consideration all the goodies I have on my car. After the incident with them I vowed that no way would I ever go back with them. Anyway at renewal time I got a phone call from SKY asking when could they expect my cheque for £1172 renewal. A really snotty **** spoke down to me saying it was the best quote I was ever going to get and they used a company called Markerstudy. Oh really I replied. So how come I have got a Quote of £680 from Livingstones who coincidently are also using Markerstudy, and have given me an agreed value of £20k. And to boot a 7500 mile limit as opposed to your 5000 one. Then just hung up. I have been very lucky with insurance companies in both dealings and quotes. But never in my life have I come across such an ignorant bunch of numpties with the IQ of a Donkeys Hind Leg as this lot.

Now this could have been down to me not setting the active suspension. But it had supposedly Air suspension so not impressed. Possible the only way I would keep the zed is fitting air ride. Never driven an E63 but have a 760 which was lovely. I reckon one more year and my Zed will be floating around the Tradelink web site Absolutely but notice I didn't name his companion for the night.

I often drive my mates Lexus 600L with the 420bhp lump in it. By ar the most comfy car I have ever spent time in. But a car that depreciates by £200 everytime you sneeze. He paid £94k in 2009 for it and it has 80,000 on the clock full service no expense spared. He has been offered £12k against a new A8L 3.0 cdi. What a joke

As you all know from 2 years ago I had some **** run into the side of me on the A3 whilst insured with sky insurance.I put in a claim and supplied cctv evidance.There accident management company said it was not conclusive and refused to help.So I had to make a private claim against the 3rd party and won the £1000 repair bill.It was only then did Sky sort out a hire car whilst RT fixed mine.Needless to say I think they are an absolute disgrace, and immediately left to go with the forum guys in Bristol or Bath.I notice the aggravation that Ekona got and the delay in getting his NC certificate.Yet when I joined them. a few days after they sent me a letter saying that if I did not supply the NCD from my old company they would void the insurance or up the premium. Annoyed I rang them and said, can you explain then who it was who signed the recorded delivery letter on behalf of Sky.There was a young lady at the children in Need event at Milton Keynes on Saturday with a Sky Insurance top on.I felt like telling her what a crap company she worked for.Still Sky Insurance, Sky TV. The name sucks period.This statement is based on my own personal experience with Sky insurance and is an honest and factual account of my dealings with them.
