Good saving on your insurance Steve, just imagine how cheap it will be when you are 31 years young.
Yeah, I am sure that I can help you out with the P2/P3 as I have looked after the car for Martin so you can expect no nasty reports as the car is sound and when I drove it last week it was running sweet. Drop me a pm nearer the time and we will get something sorted.
Alex.
Hi Alex and welcome to the club.
Still got a huge soft spot for the Fords myself as I have a 92 Escort Cossie stuck away in the garage, had it from new, no mods except a Graeme Goode stainless steel exhaust, only 29,000 miles.
A Lada would turn heads in Falkirk
Seriously mate you have done a grand job there, very well done
Regarding your exhaust, if the only issue is that the n/s tip is sitting lower than the o/s then that is an easy fix.
Providing that you are happy with the position of the o/s and it is not touching the bumper then all your fitter has to do is bend the hanger bracket that is fitted to the car body on the n/s/r.
I find that it is better to remove the bracket and bend it in a vice.
Do not try and bend the hanger bracket that is welded to the exhaust.
Alex.
