  1. well i've had the z for a year now but its time to say bye bye. i've just sold it and bought a mitsubishi evo x in pearl white. The z's been fun but i found the evo to be in a different league. I certainly have no intentions of turning into a chav or doning a burberry cap while driving it. so id just like to say a big thanks to every one. Ive got to say this is without dowt the best car club ive ever joined, everyone is super friendly and helpfull, all the best for you z nutters. lets hope i can find a decent evo club where the majority of them can speak more than basic english

    nismo alloys

looking for a set of 19 inch lm nismo alloys if anyone has a pair
  3. had a look at this, loosened the handbrake from centre console but the hole on the hub is at the bottom on my car at the minute, does it need to be at the top to adjust it
  4. had a look at the hole in the disk but didnt see anything which would adjust the handbrake, anyone have an idea
  5. The battery died a few days a ago so the zed was sat for a day or two. put the battery back in thought everything was fine but ohhhh nooo. The back drivers brake seems to be stuck on or so i thought. if you either put the car in 1st or reverse the car wont budge, the other 3 wheels are fine and free. cracked the caliper off the sticking back wheel but the the pads aint sticking to the caliper which i thought was the problem. so with the caliper off you can only rock the disk back and forth about 1cm, somethings stuck and i dont hav a clue what it is, so if anyone can shine a light please let me know

    traction

40psi is a tad high, should be 35psi if there 18's could be why it bobs about if your tyres have that much air in them

    few questions

yeah maybe, gear stick seems to vibrate a little but i just put it down to all the power its trying to handle

    BMW DRIVERS

makes a change to find a decent bmw driver, generally theyve debadged there 320d's drive up your ass like there in an m3 and fly down the right hand lane to the roundabout and pull infront of everyone

    traction

what tyres do you have on, how much tread is left on them and what psi is in your tyres can all cause your problem

    few questions

no lights come on and i dnt feel the car being stopped by tcs, i can can tell when it does it. just feels boggey like its not delivering power correctly, ive got slight concerns its not engaging gears 100%

    traction

wheel hop, i take it you mean wheel spin, the key to good traction is decent tyres. If your running standard bridgestone re040 tyres this should be your first priority to get some decent rubber as everyone will agree the bridgestones on this car are rubbish
  12. as the weathers picking up and im drivin the z more so ive started to notice a few niggles that need fixing 1) drivers window makes a whistle noise seems to come through between the tweeter plastic cover, so is the rubber seal gone? 2) when i change down from 3rd to second say when your approaching a roundabout and carry on and give it some beans, it makes a wurrgh noise. not alot of power gets over 3000rpm and its fine. but the power does seem abit intermitent, any ideas?
  13. 2.5p a litre more id like to know what they waste all the tax money they recieve from petrol on
  14. Well ive owned the z for 3 months now and i must say i love it. Its by far the best car ive ever owned and driving it everyday puts a smile on my face. To me its fantastic value for money and a very underated car in my opinion. I honestly cant think of a car i'd rather be driving at the minute without spending a good 15k plus on top of the z'ds value, i wish i bought one sooner. The only downsides i have for the z'd is i want to be driving it all the time, find it a little intermitent with how it puts its power down, other than that i think we should praise nissan for making an awesome car
  15. The easiest way to remove scratches is to use cerium oxide, it comes in powder form. mix a little with water stick it on a foam applicator pad or use a d/a polisher. 5 minutes later good bye scratches
