Paul, as has been stated the gauges can be read without powering up. I have a U.K. set of gauges here and the code on the printed circuit reads CD700A 040302 13 and there is a sticker with a bar code with a part number on the underside CD700 3SLJ Hope this helps.

Gilly, one of the better tyres for the Zed. I run them in 18" and 19" for road use and absolutely brilliant in the wet. I also use them as a wet for track use. Beware, they have no specials on at the moment for 245s. Alex.

When you are new to the Zed the dipstick can be a bit fiddly. Let it sit for an hour to settle down and you should get an accurate reading. Best time to check the oil is after the car has been sitting all night.

I would not be to dismissive on this one, although caution is key. Is the car recorded as a C or a D ? Maybe not recorded so the Q must be asked. Looks like a quarter panel skin will sort out the body work and the suspension damage, worst case scenario would be a replacement diff cradle complete with all arms etc. which I have available preowned or new. I know where there is a quarter skin available for £200.00 Non starting may be an issue but this is strange. Rear suspension and replacement quarter panel can be sorted for around £1800.00 so say £2000.00. Do the sums. Alex.
