  1. -1degree 20' to 0 degree 10' for the front
  2. The brake pad shims are there for numerous reasons and should be refitted when brake pads are changed. On the UK Brembo set up the oem pads have shims fitted to the rear of the pads but there is also a floating shim that should be refitted. Just simply tell the garage to reuse the existing floating shims. The "how stuff works" link will explain it further. Please read both pages as the second page relates to heat dispensation and heat shield issues. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-part ... -shims.htm Alex.
  3. I think that it may require just a little bit more than what you are suggesting.
  4. Bank 1 refers to the engine bank with No. 1 cyl. So that would be the left hand bank when looking towards the engine from the front. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the cat. P0037 = Heated O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low. Alex.
  5. As Colin has said get the wheels off and check the rear inner pads for wear
  6. Welcome to the club Luke nice looking motor that you have there.
  7. George, I think that I know this car and if I am correct then I suggested to the owner to remove the Toad alarm system as a process of elimination and the Nissan garage was about to do this when the owner changed his mind and removed the car from the Nissan garage and returned it to yourselves, the supplying dealer. I know how to remove the Toad alarm system and also how to install the NATS code permanently but in case this is not the same car then I suggest that in the first instance you contact Toad @ http://www.toadalarm.com/?kw=toad%20sec ... 4wodfQvpjw If I can be of any further assistance to you then you know where to find me. We really are a friendly and obliging bunch on this forum and I hope that you hang around long enough to find out.
  8. If your belt is to loose and slipping then it is possible that this may be your fault but I doubt it. Tighten up the belt and get the charging rate checked properly. If worst case scenario is faulty alternator then give me a shout back as I have low mileage ones available that will save you a fortune. Good luck, Cheers, Alex.
  9. Stan, you can have my cover for free once I am finished with it, probably circa 2015
  10. Yes mine are the cheapest and are a direct replacement for stock I also have Fidanza lightened aluminium flys and they are also the cheapest in the UK. All good to go next day. It will not be oil contamination which is causing the slip. Pm me if you require further help with this. Alex.
  11. Have a look and then give me a shout with your requirments If it is a UK car with Brembos the original disc thickness is 22mm and the minimum thickness is 20.2mm. Alex.
  12. Welcome to the forum mate always good to have another Scot aboard.
  13. Only if they are worn and require replacing. You will have to remove the rear wheels to inspect the rear inner pads properly as they wear quicker than the outside ones. If you require pads or discs then I have a selection in stock which will save you a fortune over dealer oem prices. The noise may just be a slightly sticking pad. Alex.
  14. I think that may well be the case.... I will double check tomorrow. If that is indeed the case, then you have answered your own question.
  15. Yes mate, very easy to inspect and diagnose. And also very easy to fix as well.
  16. Toyo T1Rs are a superb tyre and I am very surprised that you have got a dud. You will have no issues with Camskill and if you do, let me know and I will give you an introduction to Toyo who will sort this out immediately for you. As stated previously be very careful with the Zed on mixed tyres. Alex.
  17. Hi mate and welcome to the forum. Clutch issues are extremely common but we have all the fixes on here. Impossible to say exactly what your problem is but the most common clutch issues are: Worn and slipping clutch Faulty clutch slave cyl. Broken clutch fulcrum ball pin. I have all the parts available and prices will depend on what exact model you have. If you are getting a burning smell from the clutch then that means that it will be slipping and a new clutch assembly will be required. If that is the case you would be well advised to swop out the oem dual mass fly for a lightened aluminium single mass fly like Fidanza (which I also have in stock) when the gearbox is out. But let's not get to far ahead of our selves here, best to get it checked out and get a professional diagnoses. Get back to me if you require any further help or any parts. Alex.
  18. Stan, I have used these guys, cheap and cheerful product but not the best on the market, but friendly and helpful. http://www.cover-zone.com/?gclid=CMrt6c ... 4wodbzW4kg Alex.
  19. You may have drilled out to much by now but drilling a hole in the center and using an easy out should work okay. If you can't get up close and intimate then remove the cover and do it on the bench. If you **** up don't worry as I have spare covers. The hole depth is exactly 15mm.
  20. Does the noise go away when you touch the brakes?
  21. Yes, if there is play on the bearing then noises are possible depending on which load is being applied.
