  1. Corrected my insurance today and they're now sending me a cheque for £120.
  2. Great, thanks everyone - you've put my mind at rest!
  3. Thanks, that's what I suspected. It was confused.com that called mine a Fairlady Z. Aviva correctly called it 350Z GT.
  4. When I typed in my registration number to insure my 54 plate 350Z, the model came up as "350Z IMPORT 2003 -". At another site it came up as "Fairlady Z (350Z)". This seems to imply the car's an import, but there's no mention of it on the V5, the car was sold by a UK Nissan dealership with 5 miles on the clock, and the chassis number is the usual UK standard etc. Does it sound like there's an error somewhere, or is it normal for insurance companies to refer to the car by those names? Cheers!
  5. I've collected the car - I don't think I've smiled so much on a 100 mile drive home before! My last car was a small hatchback with ~100bhp so this is a major upgrade for me. I'm looking forward for the snow to clear up so I can go for a drive!
  6. Afternoon everyone! I test drove a 350Z yesterday and fell in love with it! Feels great to drive and is one of the best looking cars around in my opinion. Found a metalic grey 54 plate at a car supermarket for 10.5k. 66k miles, FSH, 2 owners, good condition. It has the GT spec, tan leather, 18" alloys, and rear parking sensor. Last service was 12k miles ago though so it's due a service. Based on my research the price is good. Let me know if you think otherwise though! I put down a £200 deposit yesterday and am planning on picking it up tomorrow. I'm tempted to get an AA car inspection on it now though. Hopefully I'll be posting back soon with my 350Z!
