Really? Because I'm pretty sure I'm happy to say to people in real life what I say on here I don't like the thought of 10 speed gearboxes in sports coupes, what's the issue with that? If you have a counter point to make, as opposed to trying to score cheap Internet Points, then feel free to join the conversation.

My comment was more that that kind of 'box is more suited to diesel barges where you might want to make use of the small powerband, not a sports coupe with a massive V8 and a whole bunch of torque. It wasn't a dig at your oh-so-precious and completely infallible Mustang.

Oh, so you have driven a ten-speed auto then? Pray, tell me about what it's like then.

No-one needs ten gears. It's just pandering to the numbers, just to use as a selling point. Hell most of the time we'd only need four gears: 1-3 being short up to 90mph, then 4th as a huuuuuuge cruising gear up to 200mph

Anyone ordering a sports coupe with a ten speed auto'box needs shooting.
  6. Again, update the first post dude and put the price in the title, that's the first thing people will see if they click.
  7. That’s a beautiful colour mate, it really is, but why just part? It looks unfinished, I’d at least do the rear bumper as well to tie it in. Or even better the whole thing, as that’s genuinely beautiful.
  8. OH MY GOD THERE’S MORE OF THEM
  9. I expect the MR Vette with the V8 to sit significantly above the price of the FR V8, say in the £100k bracket, with the MR V6 to sit where the current model does. If so, expect residuals of the FR V8 to remain very firm, as who wants a V6 Corvette?? With Brexit still to hit as well, I think any guesses at values in 1-2 years are pie in the sky right now. Depending on your ’contract’ with Nissan, if Nismo values hold you can probably get out anytime you like tbh. I’d say the C7 is already an utter bargain, if you can live with LHD.
  10. I’ve driven this car. It’s ace, and I’m not normally a fan of single turbos on V engines. It gets the Dan Seal Of Approval
  11. Easy answer is no. Tbh the 350 didn't come with many options in the BMW sense anyway, so there's nothing to unlock as well as less to go wrong.
  12. Oh wait, someone did. Wow. I’m lost for words.
  13. But no ones bought those, someone bought the £110 ones
  14. ONE HUNDRED AND TEN QUID FOR SOME MATS TO RUB YOUR DIRTY FEET ON WTF ARE YOU KIDDING ME
  15. Non-S, manual, buckets, exhaust. Fin.
  16. Then you might as well do it properly with a quality set of lowering springs, no? A 30mm lowered Zed doesn’t have issues with 99% of roads, unless you’ve some fancy exhaust that’s sitting much much lower than stock?
  17. I couldn’t imagine ever using it. It annoys me that Porsche won’t let you turn it off unless you turn the TCS off too, that’s utterly bonkers.
  18. Yes, is the easy answer. I’m more shocked by a Festa ST being nearly £25k!
  19. This is really excellent work, and I genuinely mean that. Mechanicals I can do, but electronics is wizardry to me so I find this amazing My only caveat would be that’s almost certainly going to be impossible to insure as a mod, as I’m struggling to think of how you’d describe it without the insurer running away in a panic
  20. Then what makes you think that any lowering of any kind is a good idea? Levelling out = lowering the rear = a bigger chance of scraping the exhaust.

    Profile question

    Actually I said MPS4S, not MPS4.
  22. Cars handle and look better if the rear sits a tad higher, tbh. That nose-down look is more aggressive than having it flat, as you may find it looks a little odd if you just do that. I tend to agree that a mild spring change in the 20-30mm range would be better, but I don’t know how sharp your driveway is. 60mm is just daft though!
