  1. Post up their ts and cs where it says this, as that sounds very odd.
  2. You'd like a house brick if they stuck a Ferrari badge on it though I'm surprised it took you over a month to post up, although I will concede the SP2 is possibly the prettiest Ferrari ever and my current motoring nirvana.
  3. Delighted for Lewis, sad for Vettel, secretly pleased at Ferrari's failure, disgusted by Toyota and sorrow for LM next year as they still don't have any competition.
  4. I’m guessing because Scotland, and it’s a long way for most of your market to travel. Whilst the car may not be to my taste, I can’t fault the quality of the advert in the slightest and the price seems reasonable enough to me. Ultimately though price is everything, and you may need to drop it if you want a quicker sale. I genuinely wish you all the best with it, you seem like a decent and level-headed person to deal with
  5. I can’t see the door cams making production, given you currently must have wing mirrors to pass MOT. Be a bit odd to produce a car that you can’t drive over here!
  6. Sadly for many, it probably will. I’ll never understand people who just buy based on the badge.
  7. So it’ll be exactly like the Z4, but the roof doesn’t come off. I’m struggling to see any attraction here at all, unless it massively undercuts the Bmw. Which it won’t.
  8. Definitely, unreliable nowadays isn’t a patch compared to unreliable in yesteryear. I’ve said for ages you can’t buy a genuinely rubbish car any more, even the pikiest of Dacias is still rock solid.
  9. Nope, not in the slightest. That’s almost half the charm.
  10. Jaguar cars say hi. As do Lamborghini and, to an extent, Ferrari. Also Astons ain’t great, especially the early Vantages and DB9s.
  11. McLaren really aren’t content with having sh*t driving F1 cars, they also seem to want sh*t looking road cars too. That’s a mess. A different kind of mess compared to the Senna, but a mess nevertheless.
  12. Truth is that the vast majority car people don't watch TG and GT, they're for regular people. Hence the big viewing figures.

    Tyre fitting

Where do you normally go for new tyres? I’d just use them, after all you’re clearly happy with them so far. Ultimately though as long as they’re a decent size company and you have proof of before/after if they mess up, anyone will do. Even Kwikfit et al.
  14. I wonder if that’s why TG and GT have bombed? Maybe people did used to want old blokes tw*tting around in cars, but in this post #metoo #snowflake world, I’m not so sure that’s what the public really want any more.
  15. I wrote coating on my first edit too, but decided to be more inclusive
  16. Always always always wax* after using polish, else you’re exposing fresh paint straight to the ravages of nature and all the crap in the air. It’s fine to wax but not polish, but not polish and not wax. *for wax, read protective layer of your choice.
  17. It's not really washing though, it's dragging the dirt and crap off the paint by brute force.
  18. Well yeah, I think we'd kinda guessed that but thanks for playing
  19. Harris is still there, he's on the RHS of the main pic on the link!

  21. Hazardous how?? the force of an airbag will very quickly shift or rip the wire out unless it’s tighter than a duck’s posterior and welded into place: a wire shoved up behind the trim is neither of those things.
  22. Going EV for green reasons is a fad and the wrong reason to do so imho. I’m not convinced EVs are any better long-term than ICE cars, maybe hydrogen is but all this tech is just being rushed through for a political and/or publicity reason. Right now it’s hipster to be EV, but will it stay like that forever?
