  1. They were? Maybe it’s the cynic in me, but I remember them being praised for the interior but criticised for the anodyne engine, dull exhaust note and not feeling as lively on the move as the 350. I mean, I’m sure they were more positive than that but I honestly don’t recall them being called an improvement over a 350. Anyone got any reviews from that time? Evo, or Car maybe?
  2. I’ve ordered loads from them as I keep drilling my plates in silly places and then can’t transfer them to the next car Great company to deal with imho.
  3. This is the internet, heaven forbid!
  4. Right now I’d rather take the R8 over the Huracan, at least until the godawful R8 facelift is actually seen on the roads. Why they ruined perfection I’ll never know. Toyota aren’t releasing prices. I’d be amazed if it’s cheaper than the Bmw equivalent, but happy to be proved wrong.
  5. Interesting, every other place I recall reading about it did slate the gearbox, Evo and Car included.
  6. The MX5 and 124 Abarth aren’t coupes though... Apologies if you address that later in the vid, I’ll admit I didn’t watch it all in one go
  7. Except the gearbox is still sh*t and it has those headlights
  8. @GranTurismoEra: And then what? A 4wd turbo four pot car? Nah, I’m good thanks. Unless they take the SLK (or whatever it’s called now), but even then that’s not exactly the ethos of a good Zed. Imho, obvs. I’ve no doubt the Supra will “sell out”, but I also don’t see why anyone really cares about it unless they want a Z4 with a tintop. It ain’t a Supra, and let’s be honest it’s not really even a Toyota.
  9. Tbh if I was tuning remotely, I’d go super-conservative too.
  10. Quite a few HFC owners do fail MOT, yes. Not all, but a proportion big enough that personally I’d either stay OEM cats or go full decat and swap back once a year.
  11. I still don’t think we’ll ever see a new Zed tbh. Too big an investment and I can’t see them being competitive with rivals to sell enough.
  12. Lewis in his last year at McLaren drove into a few people, just ask Button and Massa
  13. It’s not in their terms: I checked. You were either lied to, or you confused them.
  14. Surely it’ll be the 300Z if it comes like this?
  15. Seriously?! No windscreen is always much better, try back to back in a Caterham with and without screen to prove it.
  16. But Lewis can be like that too when he’s not winning, so I’m not judging Seb too harshly. At least he’s not an utter bellend when away from the circuit like Lewis is!
  17. No they won’t, but they will reduce it based on your mileage limit so try that instead. As before, they can’t cancel your insurance based on whether it’s SORN or not so don’t worry about that.
  18. Looks odd on 18”s. Can you imagine the cost if they tried to bring that to market? It’d be silly money.
  19. FYI I got bored and had a look myself. There’s nothing in them at all about cancelling if you SORN, so they can’t do that. I suspect they’ve got confused when you told them about the car being laid up, as they don’t do laid up policies at all. I’m the first person to say that you should tell your insurer everything, but I wouldn’t dream (and never have) of telling mine if I was sorning the car for a bit. Personally I’d look at simply reducing the mileage limit to the minimum they offer to reduce the cost, and then go with that. Or just carry on using it, it’s just a car after all and a modern one at that, it’ll be fine. How much was the policy overall, and are you paying monthly?
  20. Nah I quite like Vettel as a person and a driver, and I would like to see him win a title with Ferrari. I just don’t like Ferrari as a team
