  1. Yup, I would agree with this and was even about to post the exact same figures!
  2. I don't have any kind of JCB licence. However, even I can see that driving on a slope like that with the arm raised isn't a good idea!
  3. I've never seen that before, that's awesome!
  4. I know, I'm asking a lot, and I'm not sure anyone is even *that* good at PS in the whole world.
  5. Can you make mine less likely to induce either vomit or narcolepsy?
  6. Primer, ace, I'm nicking that! I do believe that's right up there with my favourite, Resale Grey!
  7. Yay, hooray for me and my spammy nonsense posts full of tyre-talk and condescending sarcasm! I shall stay this way forever! Oh.
  8. Lucky man. That was a pure guess that he could go that way and take his son with him, he could so easily have dragged the kid right into the path of it.
  9. Heaven forbid someone should make an effort to be correct. Far easier just to tarnish everyone in the world with the same brush. All those bloody Muslims eh, they're all the same. Going around the world and bombing everyone, Islam should be banned!
  10. Also on the V8 Cayennes too. Massively expensive job to fix, considering what a little issue it actually is.
  11. I doubt ETA or the IRA would have anything to do with this.
  12. They have different issues, like the famous coolant pipes. No car is perfect.
  13. Oh hell yeah! Those lights are just daft, and ruin a perfectly good car. New C-class has awful rear lights too. No idea what MB are thinking lately.
  14. Unlikely by enough to do any damage, unless the tune is borderline anyway (which it shouldn't be). If in any doubt, map with the stock backbox on. I was replying to the OP though, not GM.
  15. Split the difference then? If Darren is happy, of course! Then again, if you'd done what I recommended in my first post on this thread and got the inspection... ;)
  16. That's the thing, a large part of it is not. See EVO this month (or my post a couple of pages back) where they discuss it.
  17. Track cars should be as quiet as possible, IMHO. No point in creating problems for us all, we're hated by NIMBYs as it is Easiest thing to do is to swap the stock backbox on before track. Easy enough to do yourself at home, or a £20 favour to your mate down the garage.
  18. The entire engine is different, and it's got forced induction. That alone makes it massively different, surely?
  19. So I had a poke around one of these today, a blue one at the PHSS at Honda UK HQ. No driving, only static. - Blue exterior with red interior seats and highlights? No. Just no. Really, Honda?! - Speaking of those seats, they're utterly wonderful. Supportive yet snug, I was as comfy in them as Jo was with her wide hips. - Engine bay is going to be 'interesting' to work in. Proper tight in there. - The steering wheel is an absolute abortion. Not even close to round, but not a proper flat bottom shape either. Feels gash in the flesh. - Gearbox seems VERY easy to hit the reverse gate when moving from 3-5. However, I've been informed that the Honda 'boxes have a magnetic lockout that's only activated when the car is on, so maybe that's not an issue. - Front end, have you ever met rear end? I don't think you have, seeing as how you're so very different in the flesh as well as on paper. - Front wing vents go only have two of the four open, and even then it's such a tiny orifice that I'm 99% sure they do two halves of chuff all. - Underbody is nicely flat, very impressive and good to see on a modern hatchback. - WTF are those stuck on bits of plastic near the rear lights, just on the flank?! They look ridiculous! - Brakes are HUGE. That's superb to see, and I've no doubt they're equally as impressive in motion. - Interior quality was very good. Not quite Audi, but it really was a nice place to be with quality trim and components. Essentially, it's just as bad in the flash as it is in the photos. Design mess, this one also was a colour-clashing mess, and that steering wheel has got to be sorted out. I still want to drive one out of morbid curiosity, but anyone who spanks over £30K on one of these needs their head examining. Or a free pass to Specsavers. And even that said, if it drives like something very awesome then I honestly would forgive it any ugliness. Sat next to an FN2 and an EP3 did it no favours though, sorry to say.
  20. Agreed. To a mate then I'd sell what I paid for it. To someone else I'd look at the market and go from there. Personally I wouldn't swap a Boxster for a Cayman, they're far too alike and the roof comes off the Boxster.
  21. You know if a car is right for you or not. Sounds like the GT-R isn't, no shame in that, I wouldn't want one either. I always wanted to drive a Hummer H2, then my Dad bought one. It's one of the most horrible things to drive in the history of the world.
  22. That's a shame, you're really going to miss out on one of the great driver's cars No way to keep it and the GT-R?
  23. I'd have gone with those as well, not sure I trust the iron ones.
