  1. Amen brother!
  2. It looks utterly horrendous. The bumper, not the exhaust.
  3. You cannot reject until they've had a chance to repair. If you don't give them that chance then court action may well fail.
  4. I've got MGSV on order too, digital though so no chance of getting it early
  5. We have one of those too
  6. Cue the flood of "Spacers made my car slow!" and "Spacers make no difference!" posts. They will make a difference. You can feel it. If the trade off is worth it then go ahead, some don't care and some do. As for me, I'll only fit them if I'm not adding any weight over stock.
  7. Ah, the shopping trolley PS. If you're happy with them then stick with them on the rear, however don't mix tyres front to back. If you want a change, then change all four.
  8. PS2 or PSS?
  9. Then I probably wouldn't be wearing a race suit, it'll just get uncomfortable. Cracking idea, but a lot of effort! Smart suit of the period is the usual attire. If you really do want to go in the suit, then just wear comfortable shoes as it's a lot of walking, and as for logos remember that they didn't actually wear them back then as a rule
  10. Great, what tyres though?!
  11. You know you didn't break it. You have your facts, stick to them. He may well get his mate round the corner to fix it, that's his choice. As long as it is fixed, that's all that matters ultimately. He should fix it in a reasonable time. Depending on what needs doing, that may be 1-2 weeks, but it would be that wherever you went. It's a little vague, but case law is key here. Trust me, you're 100% in the right at this point. If he refuses to fix, then write him a letter stating the problem and that you expect him to repair, and to reply within 7 days. If he still doesn't, then you start small claims court proceedings as it's a slam-dunk win.
  12. You driving or just spectating?
  13. Warranty is irrelevant, no matter what the dealer says. That's simply not fit for purpose, nor of reasonable quality. Take it back to the garage, let them decide what they want to do. You should have ZERO costs for this, no matter what their warranty terms are, you're covered by the SOGA in this, not the warranty terms. Take it back, explain the problem, see what they say. They should fix it, however they may simply just refund you and then you'll have to get a new one. That's up to them, you cannot force them to fix it, but they MUST either fix or refund. No alternative.
  14. Also, don't forget to save your money and get the same size tyres all round, and run the rears at 60psi so you get the max feeling from them!
  15. Event Tyres especially: Everybody always wants their driving to feel like an event!
  16. No-one in their right mind would run 914 on a Zed, though
  17. Very true. It would look better, for one Seriously though, that's an incredible spec of car, well worth the asking price.
  18. Yup, full asking price in cash AND they leave you their driving licence or a photocopy. If legit, they should have no issues with that.
  19. Because LC from traffic lights is very likely to get you done for Careless Driving, if caught. Definitely quiet roads only!
  20. Apart from the scaffold on the back, that's lovely.
  21. What do you have on the front?
  22. Tbh, I think I'd rather the Zed died off than was diluted with either a 4-pot or an SUV. Some cars don't have to live forever to stay an icon forever.
  23. Better is relative. Neither car is going to be corroded to any degree that any sane person would care about. You really should care about the colour, that's the whole selling point of the car!
  24. Good spot!
  25. That's what I mean: That's a lovely looking car. Perfect.
