hi all had my 350z for 2 years now standard 2005 DE plan to supercharge it do some exterior mods, bucket seat n harness and suspension mods plan is to still drive it daily but do trackdays have bought and modified a R33 gtst and Evo 3 in the past into trackday/sprint cars so looking forwards to seeing how the zed compares

My clutch pedal has travel once I've driven the Z around for a while, park it up for a bit and then get back in to drive again, pedal travels quite low and the bites Any thoughts\suggestions? cheers

Had the Z for a week and enjoying the car loads Brakes are great Handling is great Power delivery is great Looks great BIt of a wide ar$e though ! So yeah .. great car Some pics - nothing special standard 2005 DE but has grooved front brakes Had an R33 GTST skyline I built into a track day car over 4 years from standard and then broke that for parts 2 years ago and went kart racing for 2 years (Rotax max) good to be back in a decent car again Plans for the Z ?? Hard to say as its so sorted out of the factory and don't want to start modding and unbalance the car is some way but will defo be do something as its my daily driver I need to take that into account Location wise on the Wirral over the water from Liverpool

Just got the 350z home - awesome car Do I have coilovers fitted as it sits low(ish) and also how do I tell if I have an aftermarket exhaust as it sounds great but the stock one does. It has grooved\dimpled front disks so suspect some other mods have been done but as I bought it from a bog standard garage they don't know what they've sold on - paperwork isn't telling me anything just service history and few receipts for tyres\MOTS etc cheers

^^^ was thinking of doing that as it around £90 a week for a fiat 500 tbh the one I'm getting is fine, wouldn't have bought it otherwise, clean inside and out, minor wear on the seat which I would expect, has a full service history mostly nissan, good price for its age \ mileage and the dealership is only 7 miles away and are known to be ok so any problems their on my doorstep lets hope that breaking the fundamental rule of "don't buy the first one you see" doesn't come back to bite me

yeah I like em in silver - understated but still looking good if you know what I mean I've actually put a deposit down on the first one now, need to be sorted for Monday as I drive to work - public transport isn't up to much - would have liked a little more time to save a bit more cash and get one at a more leisurely pace but with my galant engine about to die (suspect it was crankwalk as Mitsubishi engines suffer from this ) I needed to get sorted asap

Thanks for the welcomes I've gone and paid the deposit on the 2nd one - due to my circumstances (see my first post) I would have literally £40 till pay day if I went for the more expensive one and they also wouldn't have the car ready till *maybe* mid next week, I need a car to get to work on Monday so the cheaper, older and higher mileage one it has to be as they will do a service \ MOT tomorrow and if they need parts then fair enough I will take Monday off as holiday from work Can't honestly say I feel excited at the moment (more knackered lol) as its been a bit hectic today but one I've driven it to work I'm sure I'll be grinning - on the test drive it drove well and sounded great Few newbie questions; Do 350s have fan belts or are they chain driven Did some 2005 (55) models not come with a center console - mine doesnt' have one just a hole - but this means less weight I do plan to mod my z - think some rotas first then a visit to TDI-north (Paul & co) and have a chat with them to sort out engine breathing and a revup map along with some subtle exterior mods, ultimately I want to turbo it and do track days as I had a track day R33 GTST skyline which I broke for parts a few years ago and have been kart racing since (Rotax Max) but selling the kart now which will give me funds for the z
