  1. Pics not working for me dude, at least on mobile. Any one else?
  2. Paul, your link has a space at the end of the item number, if you edit the post to remove that it'll work fine
  3. For the idiots that come on here playing Billy Big Balls and they're the next Ken Block etc, how very refreshing to see someone come on here and just open right up and admit they tried something new, got it wrong, and want a bit of honest help. Ryan, I genuinely doff my cap to thee sir. Please don't be afraid of switching the TCS off in the future, you've made a mistake and tbh there but for the grace of god goes me when I had my first RWD car and I started playing with moving the back around. I'll never forget it, 90deg right hander, warm summer evening, waaaaay too much throttle and the damn thing pirouetted on me. I've no idea how I saved it, far more luck than skill as I had zero idea of what I was doing. Could easy have been me posting up on a forum with tail between legs. SuperStu is organising some driver training days at Millbrook, well worth looking into. Or any trackday really, with a bit of coaching on the day, will massively help confidence. Stick with it, playing with RWD cars is one of life's many pleasures and no-one gets it right first time.
  4. Sorry Tom, didn't mean to insinuate that you'd been anything other than cordial. Having been there though, with neighbours who felt like they owned a particular parking spot, it can make your life hell very quickly. It's okay now, but just wait until that car gets moved right to the very edge so you cannot reverse in. It's coming, I promise you. Best to get in there quickly, make them feel like utter muppets for staking their claim when you're a nice couple, and then get on with your life and enjoy it. I know it's easier said than done, especially if you're not a naturally outgoing person (my missus definitely is, so it makes my life easier), but it's so worth doing in the long run. If you didn't want to do a proper chat, even just take the wine over and say that you're sorry if they felt like you were encroaching, you really didn't mean to it's just that you were always taught by your Dad to reverse park wherever possible (ham it up) and here's a bottle of wine for no hard feelings, and if they ever need anything like a parcel taking in or someone to keep an eye on the house when they go on holiday they've only got to ask. All that guff.
  5. And this is why I never want a shared driveway TBH I'd do yourself a favour in the long run and go and have a civil chat with them. Take a bottle of wine, start normal small talk, bring it up in casual conversation but laugh it off. Trust me, you do not want this to get any worse this early on, it's not worth. Bite your tongue, be nicey-nicey, then go home and call the guy a c*nt under your breath. My guess is they're getting really territorial over you driving into "their" land. Especially in a sports car, my guess is if you were 65 in a Micra they wouldn't give a toss.
  6. Nowt wrong with a BMW, lad. Personally I'd still drop a couple of cats on and go from there, but even if you do flog it there's nothing stopping you buying another Zed.
  7. Not for me, it isn't. Noise, feeling, mechanical thrashing, that build up of power to a crescendo (the latter being why I prefer petrol over diesel) is intrinsic to my enjoyment of cars. The one thing I don't give a hoot about is straight line performance, which is the only thing that Tesla offer for the motoring enthusiast. With speed limits closing in, 0-60 and top speed is becoming less relevant in the modern world. It's why the 350 remains such a tempting proposition, as its quick enough to be fun but slow enough you can actually use the power. Winning traffic light GPs is something for children to get excited about.
  8. Hugely overpriced, and totally unavailable. Great way to launch a new budget performance brand.
  9. Exactly, he's had many years of ICE racing, the kids only have a few years left, let them make the most of it If Kubica didn't have a gimpy arm, no-one would be saying that a 32 year old deserves a shot at a works F1 seat.

    AD08's

They're the old design, so not as good basically. Still great though. Think MPSS compared to MPS4.
  11. Good for him, but no. He's 32, he's got experience in other disciplines, time to let the youngsters come through and have a go rather than turning to 30-somethings mainly because sympathy.
  12. Looks like the apocalypse is coming! Although it's a month and a half too early...

    Evo 2017 Tyre Test

I think he's stil on P Zeros as well, as I know he stuck with L-spec ones and I'm guessing that none of the newer range have been put through that set of regs yet. Another reason why I don't ever want to drive it in the rain

    Evo 2017 Tyre Test

I'll have to find out what my mate is running on his Gallardo, as they didn't feel horrendous when I was out in that the other week. Wasn't in the wet though and they were quite new, so maybe hard to say.
  15. So a £76k Lexus coupe rather than a £90k Toyota supercar I'm guessing that was written by a non-car person then. Still a decent prize mind. Cheers for getting back to us matey, genuinely appreciate that
  16. Congrats on missing the point. Go you! Now imagine a 10% raise every year, and then imagine average car mileage of 10,000 miles. And the raise happens overnight, not gradually, so you have no time to adjust. If you can't see why this might be a problem for Joe Average, then I give up.

    Evo 2017 Tyre Test

Normally I'd agree, but given how easily the 4 won and we know the 4S is better I'm not sure there would've been much point. Still would've been nice though!
  18. So? If you need them you need them, try asking again but more politely
  19. British Gas have just announced a 12.5% increase in their electricity prices, so if you're on their network and own an EV then congrats! Your fuel price just jumped up 12.5%! And they say petrol prices are volatile. Given that electricity price rises are becoming steeper and more frequent (any homeowner will tell you that), you can see why EVs aren't going to be cheap to run forever. Not a dig at any one or anything, it's just not a point that I think has been raised elsewhere on here before. The overall cost of electric sure, but not the sudden double-digit price increases.
  20. Your local dealer will very likely have these in stock.
  21. Alcantara can last, but it needs cleaning and protecting regularly (like after every use). Never going to last as long as leather though, that's definitely true.

If it's just a template sent directly by PM to the OP, then no issue there at all.
  23. Si, Graham asked you outright for a quote and three days later you'd not even got back to him. I appreciate you're busy, but even a PM to start the discussion would've been a good idea.
