Not for me, it isn't. Noise, feeling, mechanical thrashing, that build up of power to a crescendo (the latter being why I prefer petrol over diesel) is intrinsic to my enjoyment of cars. The one thing I don't give a hoot about is straight line performance, which is the only thing that Tesla offer for the motoring enthusiast. With speed limits closing in, 0-60 and top speed is becoming less relevant in the modern world. It's why the 350 remains such a tempting proposition, as its quick enough to be fun but slow enough you can actually use the power. Winning traffic light GPs is something for children to get excited about.

Congrats on missing the point. Go you! Now imagine a 10% raise every year, and then imagine average car mileage of 10,000 miles. And the raise happens overnight, not gradually, so you have no time to adjust. If you can't see why this might be a problem for Joe Average, then I give up.

Normally I'd agree, but given how easily the 4 won and we know the 4S is better I'm not sure there would've been much point. Still would've been nice though!

British Gas have just announced a 12.5% increase in their electricity prices, so if you're on their network and own an EV then congrats! Your fuel price just jumped up 12.5%! And they say petrol prices are volatile. Given that electricity price rises are becoming steeper and more frequent (any homeowner will tell you that), you can see why EVs aren't going to be cheap to run forever. Not a dig at any one or anything, it's just not a point that I think has been raised elsewhere on here before. The overall cost of electric sure, but not the sudden double-digit price increases.

Alcantara can last, but it needs cleaning and protecting regularly (like after every use). Never going to last as long as leather though, that's definitely true.

I mean, why would anyone want to go out of their way to give the Zed and Jap car owners in general a bad rep? I already said feel free to explore limits where appropriate, I know I do. If your going to slide, then do it where there are no other cars/persons/objects around. Doing it outside a car show on a relatively busy road where you're being filmed is just bonkers.

That video single handedly sets back the perception of the Jap car scene by about ten years. Didn't watch it all, admittedly, but saw enough.
