I'd rather walk than drive an M4. The M235i (and I suspect the 240i too but I've yet to drive that) was a superior car in every single way that mattered.

Basically whatever imperfections you have in the bodywork will show up through a wrap, to a certain extent. For example, on mine I've a couple of tiny triangles on the sill where the jacking points are indicated and you can see those clear as day, however where there were other minor scratches you can't see anything. Any bigger lumps n bumps will need to be smoothed out before you apply the wrap. However, if you're asking does a panel need to be painted before being wrapped, I'd say the answer is definitely no. As long as the body work is smooth (so you may need/want filler and sanding as appropriate) then you can wrap straight over the top.

I literally don't even know where to start with that, I really don't.

Some things never need to be shared

It'll be the slave or master cylinder, not the fluid. I know it's warm but it's not *that* warm! Same thing happened to mine when I was out in France one time, it got worse with the heat as it was the seal failing rather than the fluid. Get the slave changed as a minimum, but tbh I'd always recommend doing the master as well as the biggest cost is the labour time is taken up with the bleeding, not the part cost. You could just do the slave and then find out the problem is with the master too, which is exactly what happened to me.

Huge thanks to Lexx for sorting this weekend out, and to the rest of the Team for their support too. I can't believe I've known some of you ten years already, but only just met you this weekend It was a brilliant weekend, and although my head and stomach are suffering for it right now, I'd do it all again tomorrow. Congrats to the winning quiz team, the Cunning Stunts, and thanks to everyone for participating in that yesterday evening. Slightly less welcome was StevoD's inclusion of shots into the mix last night, however I think we can all be proud that we drank the bar dry of San Miguel I totally agree with Lexx, I don't think I've ever been part of a club that has such a great atmosphere when when random strangers who just happen to share a car meet up. You lot are the best. Def up for next year.

Good news Just give the current hire car back and get a cheaper one, no worries then. The only time you get trouble is when people keep very expensive cars on hire for ages, when a boggo 1.6 Focus estate would actually do them just fine.

It'll be fine, it's not like you're submerging it or anything. You can open a bonnet and run a hose over it without issue (as long as you're not being deliberately stupid about it and aiming it at the fuses or battery!), so no problems running a vented cover. You'll get a dirtier engine bay quicker obviously, but that's about it.

Oh absolutely, personal preference and all that. To me it just looks unfinished, but then I don't get the rat look or other non-perfect finishes either.

It may look dull to some eyes, my point was it hasn't dated as quickly. Maybe that's because it was dated when it came out, but certainly the LaF still looks fresh.
