  1. As Aliveboy says, without a rated towing capacity on the V5 then you cannot tow with it.
  2. I hope the BRDC carry out their threat, and I hope Liberty don't back down and do a new contract that's affordable. I'd quite like to see Silverstone disappear for a few years tbh. Maybe we might get the fabled street circuit that's now possible, even if it means we don't have a BGP for a couple of years. F1 at Silverstone is miles too expensive. £400 for a pit straight grandstand seat? £185 for a Sunday ticket? Naff off mate, it's not even worth going for the noise any more. Nope, I have no love for Silverstone whatsoever.
  3. Agreed, and the only reason I carried on with my line of questioning is purely because it makes a nice change to have a debate with a believer who isn't an utter fruitloop and gets angry at everything

Everyobe loves a purple end poking out! Looks good mate, am really glad you got rid of that awful thing, that was the biggest bugbear about the cars I drove a couple of years back.
  5. Perfect answer, thanks Davey. Mentioning Jehovah suddenly makes the creation of this thread much clearer to me too. Interesting comment about you not entirely believing (there's a huge irony in me using that word here!) in the theory of evolution. Can I ask why, or more specifically what you don't believe is true about it?
  6. Davey, no disrespect meant at all by this question but I'm genuinely unsure of your honest opinion on this. Are you a believer of God and the Bible? I assume yes based on that last comment, but other posts you've meant give me doubt. Just want to know which side of the fence you sit really.
  7. I would've had my name down ages ago, but we've a family engagement that weekend that I just cannot get out of Although it was bloody tempting to ditch it and watch the fallout
  8. The endplates look like they're on backwards. I know they're not as that's the APR design, just looks really odd to the eye. I really like that though, looks good.
  9. Confirmed, many blats later (somehow managed to go for a lovely 2 hour one last Sunday, got back at 8am and still had the whole day to waste) and there is no more oil splashing out anywhere. Hurray! Although I now have squeaky brakes so I may have to treat myself to a pad upgrade.
  10. Oh nice, I missed that. Didn't take as long as I thought it might do, that's good going
  11. But you still won't find everything until the search function has finished indexing.
  12. VOSA no longer exist, they're the DVLA now. They don't check emissions on a general check, we get a lot of these setup around the airport and I've been pulled a couple of times. They're more interested in overweight vehicles or unsafe loads or if the vehicle is clearly an utter shed You'd have to be caught by a specific emissions testing checkpoint, which I'm guessing you'll only find in London as they have the LEZ there. Even then, that only applies to commercial vehicles anyway! Nah, safe to say no-one will ever get caught by these things, not in these days of austerity.
  13. Not quite.* There is no law that says you must run cats, and as such there's no law stopping you from running decats. However, under the C&U Regs 1986 S61 Linky: ...or in plain English, if you make your car produce worse emissions than as it comes out of the factory you can be prosecuted, so this also applies to hi-flow cats as well. The EU Regs mentioned refer directly to the emissions of the vehicle, which is why the statute simply puts those rather than actually give us the detail. It's exactly this kind of stuff that's going to be a nightmare to de-tangle from when we Brexit, so now you can see why it's going to be many, many years before we take back control etc. Interestingly the text reads "or permit to be used", so if you let your missus drive your car with hi-flow cats on then you can both be charged. However, back in the real world this is never ever ever going to happen. Ever. If you get stopped and charged under this precise law, I'll pay the fine for you. Realistically if you've got no cats then your car will be antisocially loud (for the most part), so they'll simply S59 you instead which requires no proof and has no right of appeal. Far less paperwork than calling the DVSA (VOSA) out to actually carry out a proper test on the vehicle, which would be required for conviction as otherwise it's not beyond reasonable doubt, and unless you strike really unlucky and happen to get stopped on a random DVSA test (again super unlikely as they go after commercial vehicles 99.9% of the time) it's not going to happen. With fewer resources these days it's even LESS likely to ever happen. In short: Fit and forget, just don't drive like a knob. But that applies all the time anyway. *These laws are for England & Wales, I would imagine there's not much difference in Scotland but alas that's more difficult to find. Happy to be corrected if you can show me the proof.
  14. Hah, Dblock! Man, there's a name not heard for years. Angry little man, wasn't he.
  15. Venus spins the total opposite direction, and a day is longer than a year there too. I'm guessing that was Retard God's attempt at making a planet.
  16. I won't be sad if SS goes from the calendar tbh. If they can't make money despite having full attendance and utterly horrendous prices, then the contract is all wrong and needs to be torn up. Once all the big Euro races are gone and F1 loses the Euro audience, watch the owners hastily re-do contracts. F1 will change drastically once all free-to-air is gone after this year. It's simply not a sustainable sport, and when the Italian GP goes as well you can imagine how well that will go down...
  17. A 2004 350Z will have the earlier engine in anyway, the DE. If you mean can you fit the later Revup and HR engines then the easy answer is no, not as a straight swap. You need a fair amount of modification to the wiring loom (and the exhaust in the case of the HR) plus ECUs which makes it cost-prohibitive. Welcome along btw
  18. I couldn't imagine believing in some mystical being, and then getting so angry because others believed in a completely different mystical being that they have no proof of either.
  19. Of course you can, just remove the pax seat
  20. I'd like to be in her traxx fnar
