I can only assume they ran the business model for that and it didn't work. Personally I reckon it was storage and bandwidth that they were trying to cut down on, and as long as they achieved that then they'd live with the fallout.

When I said soooooon, I mean like over a year later obvs Bored of the Prodrive exhaust now, as it's great but just a little too quiet for my tastes these days, I volunteered to pay for an exhaust 'upgrade' on Jo's car. Nothing fancy and certainly nothing too loud as it's got to be her DD and she'd kill me if it droned, so I went for an Afterburner Vortex made by Hayward & Scott. Cheap enough to not worry if the quality isn't all there (although it's H&S and they're normally spot-on), I went to get this fitted during the week. Straight forward 30min job yeah? No. Once I eventually found my axle stands buried in the are-end of the garage (why on earth did I put when under a box of cushions for the garden?!), got the car up and gave the bolts a Plusgassing. Tried to get a grip on one, no dice as it was caked in mud and road crap. Proper hard stuff. Grrr. No probs, I think to myself, I'll go grab a small screwdriver and chip it away. Still much tougher than I expected, until I look again and realise that I'm not chipping away mud, I'm chipping away actual centre pipe flange... And I didn't buy that. Eeep! Emergency stop before I do any real damage luckily, and a new resonated centre pipe on order. Bit irritating as I wanted that done for this weekend, but hey ho. Will have to get a new flange welded on there at some point, as it's the PPP one I want to keep it for the provenance of the car when/if she ever sells is. Also picked up some new wheel bolts as the locking ones were stating to resemble cheese, and some new brake pads too as the current ones are getting a bit low. I love the Brembo calipers on these, makes changing the pads a breeze. TL;DR I'll get some more pics up when I fit the exhaust. Sweardown.

Unfortunately this whole thing will only work out well for one entity: Photobucket. Think about it, they've had thousands of user remove all their pics from the site, which immediately cuts down on storage costs. No more linking either, so down comes the bandwidth bill. All they're left with is a group of people happy to pay ridiculous rates. The leech who was only using them for free pic storage has gone, and now they can be a much more profitable company. I doubt it's done much harm to their brand either, as those that can afford it will shrug their shoulders and insist it's the best tool for the job.

Sounds like RC5+ is the way to go on mine then, cheers fella. Do you have a contact there I can chat with, just to confirm options?
-
Better from the side I admit, but I still prefer the clear. Yellow fogs just remind me of really old crap cars is all

I genuinely don't understand how any reasoned person these days could believe in any religion at all. I cannot get my head around how it's possible to believe fully in something so utterly obviously made up thousands of years ago, and then butchered time and time again in translation, much less how there are a million sky fairies and they're all the right one. Davey, I have a lot of respect for you taking the time to answer my questions, it cannot be easy trying to justify yourself and your beliefs when you're one voice amongst many as on here. Politics I can argue about with friends until I'm blue in the face, but this thread is making me distinctively uncomfortable. For that reason, I'm also following Aliveboy and leaving this thread.

Sorry Gudzy, really not digging those yellow lights at all dude.
-
I also have sigs hidden for all. Sounds like a good job I do

Have you tried the RC6E Doc? I can't get the 6's in my pad size (they're same shape as the E92 M3 luckily), so only have the choice of 5+ or 6E.
-
That actually makes a lot of sense.
-
Definitely not. It's a new Subaru, not a 1970's Renault. Also, this thread is really making me want one.
-
Thanks, do you have the source for where experts in their field have confirmed this?
-
Thanks Davey. From my reading of that, it basically says that God is going to sit back and do absolutely nothing whatsoever, even in the face of extreme suffering caused by no fault of the person in pain. How could you want to worship someone that evil and cruel? No need to answer that one.
-
Ooh I've got another question (sorry to keep picking your posts apart, genuinely appreciate the replies!). You say you don't agree with all in the bible, which I get, but how do you pick and choose what stuff to believe and what to ignore? Not saying I disagree with your approach, just curious.
-
Source for that?
-
So if he's not punishing anyone, and he has the power to create worlds, why does he let little children suffer in agony? You've still not been able to answer that point.
-
Okay, thousands then. I forgot evolution is off the table.
-
Okay, I get that. However, that doesn't answer my question. Why does a benevolent God, a merciful God, allow babies to get cancer and die? What defect do they have that means God is happy to sit back and let them suffer in horrendous agony? If God is punishing people because of what Adam & Eve did, which was millions of years ago at the very least, then that's a pretty sh*tty thing to be doing, isn't it?
-
So why is he killing children before they have the chance or even the capability to sin? Why is he killing those children born to true believers who never have and never will sin, the righteous and the just?
-
You did, but I'm 99.99% sure that's a DVSA station now. https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/vehicle-and-operator-services-agency https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/driver-and-vehicle-standards-agency/about/access-and-opening Note the first two addresses are the Scottish branches, and are listed as DVSA. VOSA and DSA merged in '14 to create the DVSA. That said, if you fancy walking across the road and confirming that they're still using the VOSA name in Aberdeen I'll be more than happy to retract my statement. I'm literally only going on every bit of info on the official government websites for this, as I can't find any evidence that says VOSA still exist in Scotland at all.

Probably work off IP addresses or summat. Or even better, stays with UK time on the basis that this is a UK site and to hell with the rest of you!- 57 replies

This is the thing. If God, any God, actually exists and is wise and kind and capable of the many great feats as claimed, then He's an utter c*** of a god for letting little kids die of cancer. That for me alone rules out any possibility of there being any such creature.
