  1. Well I think it matters quite a lot if you're claiming to have set a new one
  2. Not from the factory though I'll watch the vids a bit later, but what record have they actually broken?
  3. Agreed, that battery is now knackered so replace it. But sort the fans ASAP.

    Spacer too large >.<

15mm all round will be fine, as Adrian says. I wouldn't be faffing around with 10mm either. 5mm is nothing, look at it on a tape measure, no way you'd tell by eye alone on a car especially when the arches aren't square anyway.
  5. Utter nonsense. When you buy the car you get the V5 anyway! That said, you're buying from a dealer, so it's not really an issue. Just make sure you put at least £100 of the cost on a credit card, and get to see the HPI check that they should do for you. I've never bothered inspecting a V5 when buying from a dealer, nor will I ever tbh.
  6. Sounds to me like it's not actually charging properly. Have you tried taking it for a proper run, or are you sitting there on the drive stopping and starting it?
  7. Maybe, I always thought that B2S1 would be the pre-cat one, and B2S2 would be post-cat.
  8. Ah you're practically one of us now, it's them bloody haggis-lovers that give me the heebie-jeebies
  9. Hang on, no-one told me we were inviting foreigners...
  10. And hundreds of other guys too
  11. It will, but you'll need to put it together yourself. Speak to the traders on here first, they'll get you the correct one that's plug and play
  12. Tbh I've never seen a code suffixed with a P before, but seeing as the number doesn't change I'm not sure I'd worry too much about it. Change the sensor and see if they both go, I'm betting they do.
  13. Dodgy O2 sensor, replace and all should be fine. It's Bank 2 Sensor 1, but I'll let someone else tell you exactly which one that is as I'm having a brainfart and can't remember for the life of me which side of the engine that is!
  14. I don't fancy your chances on that much
  15. Not aimed at you Chris, as I've no idea what delivery company you use, but basically it's the race to the bottom that causes this kind of thing. MyHerpes are the cheapest, nastiest couriers, along with Yodel, and they give a cheapy nasty service. As soon as I find out a company uses them then I stop using that company, same as I used to with Sh*ttyLink when they were going. I'd rather pay a couple of quid more for a decent service than risk everything, and it's situations like this that reminds me why I do that. And in fairness to Marzman, I do get caught out on occasion when I forget to ask what courier or get caught up in the moment and impulse buy, so no blame aimed at him either. Arguably you could simply go to court and fight on the balance of probabilities, and I might even be tempted to send a letter saying that to the seller and see what happens.
  16. Now confirmed, BRDC have activated the break clause for Silverstone. Hurrah for having some balls and doing the sensible thing!
  17. Well, good luck with that reason in court then.
  18. Nothing on there for me at all. Normally my credit card is on fire by now!

In theory yeah, but at that point your tyre will be having intimate relations with your arches unless rolled so I'd look at that more.

30 min job mate, all you gotta do is remove spacer, bolt wheel on, get a straight edge and measure where the face comes to, then simply work out how much further out than that you want. Don't even have to bolt the wheel on fully, just a couple of bolts to get it sitting flat on the hub.
