Afraid to say Liam is correct, you're most likely screwed! Always - ALWAYS - pay with Credit card on the net. Every major card provider will cover you for purchases for such problems. As an IT guru you should have already known this, but no point dwelling on it. I would get down Argos, and cut your losses and buy one Unless you know an actual address of where they are registered (and are actually based), you will have no joy chasing them with legal action as they cant put a claim on someone when they dont know where they are or who they really are. I for one always pay with card, even when using PayPal. So if some theiving scum tries to take my money and even PP cant get it back, the CC company will chase up for the money off them and immediately refund me the money.

As the others have said, depending on your other mods, the car will likely run lean and you will not really make anything without a remap to correct the AFR. Its very car dependant though, as some Zeds react quite well to mods some dont. AdrianK has a buddy club which sounds like its a similar design to yours and he made good numbers last time out on the dyno, although he had high flow cats too.

Thats because its registered as LGP or LPG (some kind of light goods vehical) which a lot of imports are registered as and are taxed way less than normal cars. This strictly isnt right, but is a nice little loophole that they are meant to be sewing up. My mates Evo is the same, taxed at £190/yr.

Thats total bollox Nixy, that is not the case I think thats a bit harsh TBH. What you guys have to remember is that there are people on this forum that dont voice their opinion in public. We have a very broad member base and we have to try and keep everyone happy. Now I think we all agree that most of the time we do a pretty good job. All the mods/admins are also human, and like a good laugh just like you lot. Just in hindsight we sometimes decide that a thread is maybe pushing it a bit much for some members. Remember that people can stumble across this forum whenever, and not everyone knows that thread is a joke thread etc. We dont want new members straying into it and being offended. Now I beleive that thread in question hadnt had a post up in a week, so the decision was made that as it was close to the bone and not now active, we removed it as we though it had served its course.

Amanda got the same on her Ibiza from the dealer. And I had it on my Leon, and again was about £200 for 3yrs which was on a £15.5k car I'd probably expect to pay more, say £300, for something like a new Zed though. Overpriced for their car in my mind.

I think you will be dissapointed TBH Jerry. Its quite a step down in performance, FWD is no where near as much fun as RWD and the Clio will just feel a bit cheap and cheerful TBH. Dont get me wrong they are great cars, and handle like go-karts, just I dont think they are in the same league as the Zed. But there are greater motivators than just handling and styling, so I can see why you are drawn to the Clio

Only 5mm in it either way chap, probably wont make much difference. But with 20mm spacers on already, I would go with 35mm I guess which makes the offset 15mm. Would look very aggressive. I believe Rays are a 35 offset Now we are talking! If i could now i would go for 25mm spacers with the rays....so ET30 it is.... To be more exact Rays are 8"/ET30 front and 8.5"/ET33 rear. So given the new wheels are wider, with the same offset they will stick out slightly more, so I think with ET30 on the new wheels it will fill the arches very nicely!
