  1. +1 I'll ask at WLMG in Slough on Monday, they've moved premises and are now a HPC so will ask the service manager if theres any difference. TBH they will have probably had extra training on the 370z and GTR as they are the HP cars that HPCs cater for. Cant see they had any extra training for the Zed, after all its just a big Micra engine
  2. They actually are quite popular in the US - I kid you not! (I know its meant to be a joke, but people actually use them serioursly!)
  3. I disagree. I drove a 997 C2S and a Cayman S back-to-back a few months ago and found the Cayman to be much more of a driver's car and much more modern. Especially good if you turbo them apparently, good for 500HP
  4. Does the weave pretty much line up? That would look awesome
  5. If your car was within warentee, or even just a bit out of it, they would fix most of that for free. Nissan arent all that bad compared to some others. Just their customer care is a bit pants but then they are used to dealing with Micra owners! Performance Centres should fix that for 370z/GTR owners, but I will be supprised if they do! I'm tempted by a Cayman S or 370z next, but dont know which way I will go. Currently have a good rapport with the Nisasn dealer I use, so that will probably swing me towards the 370z, especially with a community like this
  6. Trying to catch doc up, but I think the Zed will be replaced with a newer Zed before I do. Curerntly on 81k miles and no major problems for me *touch wood*
  7. Very nice Does that come with the proper paddles rather than the strange buttons?
  8. Doh! I'll be getting a Porsche next then
  9. Sounds like a nice way to make your rear tyres more sticky than the fronts. Welcome to understeer until the fronts are equally scrubbed in
  10. Have you seen one in the flesh Rich? They look so much better in person. I really stuggled to capture it on camera when we played with one at the PH Sunday Service.
  11. If its the same as Infiniti, the salesman I spoke to said for it to "heal", it was only on scratches (paint chips can be too deep) and they have to heat up the paint to heal it apparently. He wouldnt say how they actually do it though.
  12. Looks good matey. Will there be some carbon goodies for 370z's in a few months?
  13. I remember the days when it was less than 50p/litre! Bet there are some others here that know when it was a lot less than that!
  14. That must be what I was thinking of. Wasnt it the PD190 or something? Must have been the FR. They were mental quick for what they were Fully agree chap, thats why I have RWD for the last 2.5 years
  15. Would depend on how the cars been looked after, but next service should be at 72k, and IIRC its a biggie, a P3
  16. Diesel LCR FTW then, those things are maaaad!
  17. I take it LCR does not stand for Lairy Chav Racer ten... You'd not be taking the mick when a 300HP+ one whoops your ass! Its a SEAT Leon Cupra R by the way
  18. Thats what I was thinking! Might look nice but the fitment may be the thing you should be worried about
  19. Not heard of aux belts going prematurely before, certainly not costing £600 to replace! Think it cost me £100 all in to get mine replaced and I considered that expensive when the belts are only about £30. Maybe they replaced some of the bearings or pulleys?
  20. Its only because the LCR came up from behind me that he got the jump. Remember an LCR with 280HP will have the same in torque, so more than the Zed. So quite feasible for them to pull away, thats a turbo for you. If I was "on it" in the Zed, then we would have been matched I'd say. In the wet, the Zed would muller it. LCRs are terrible at putting the power down, wheel spinning and torque/understeer would be the order of the day in the wet 4WD is where its at in the wet
  21. Weekend test drive? I head you can get them for the 370z
