  1. I would disconnect the battery just to be sure. You can throw the light by leaving it connected (I have before ). True the light is already on, so you would need to reset it anyway, but I'd rather the airbag had no power to it when I was handling it. Just person preference.
  2. People that look just like you, but rather than talking via a computer, do so with their mouths (and sometimes their arses ). Just look on facebook to see what they look like in real life
  3. TBH, from what I've seen, a lack of a website, or an especially cack looking one, usually means they are very good mechanics! Ditto when you see a workshop and it looks like a shed, usually means they are good slightly unscientific method, but not an inaccurate one, the performance place near me has a webiste, but it only works on certain internet browsers. they don't really advertise and i found them by accident. but their work is excellent. Yup totally unscientific, but in most places I have been to, quite true

  5. Not another one..... http://www.match.com Been there done that. I did got the t shirt but no girl Did you get your money back? When I first got my Zed, I took it down the pub to meet my mate and his now wife. When she had a sit in it she said to him "why didnt you get one of these?!" (he owns an Evo btw)
  6. First off, in the unlikely event you need the drivers airbag, I would hazzard an educated guess and say it wont deploy. Secondly, I'd get an auto electrician to have a look at it. I beleive that a lot of the electrics in the wheel boss (where the horn and airbag mount) may share a common earth or power. It might just be that they need whipping off and the wires sorting. If you are handy yourself, it can be done DIY to have a look. You will need to disconnect the battery, pump the brake to drain any juice left in the system (so the airbag doesnt know its been disengaged), undo the two Torx nuts on the side of the steerign wheel and you can remove it. Go a google, there are quides on it. If there are any broken connections, post up pics and we may be able to help. Also give R35LEE a PM, he will have an idea of the problem and also like to have the parts needed to fix it at way less than dealer prices EDIT: Damn that Lee, hes just too darn quick
  7. Nah, thats what the Admins are for, not the Mods. I go out and see and talk to real people
  8. i suppose the live chat isnt recorded for all to see either There would be chat logs on the server, so I'd watch what you say
  9. TGM Sport in Fleet know the Zed pretty well. Depending on what you want doing of course. AdrianK has had a lot of work carried out by them, and I've had a few bits and bobs done, as have many other members. They are about an hour away from Fareham if you go by M3 - http://www.tgmsport.co.uk/
  10. Just not fully, or at least in my case
  11. whoojawhatnow? ....well my thread deleted the live chat button on the front page... Still there for me
  12. Definately. Will make a sticky out of it somewhere later
  13. Nice comparison, certainly shows the differences between the models. Thanks

Couldnt agree more While many "opinions" might seem just that, they are deep founded in many years of Zed ownership and many years on boards both here and abroad, typically the US, where they have litterally have tried everything

This man is a legend, give him a medal or trophy I was thinking more BM, maybe you need to consider taking a break chap, nice holiday somewhere sunny
  16. what a game!!!!!! Had it on the Megadrive and it was wicked
  17. As the others have said, the easiest way to up the power on the 276 is to get a remap. It will give you slightly more power than the 296 and also more low down grunt than it. To truely change the 276 into a 296 you are looking at quite a lot of work, inc cams. I think they also added VVT to the exhaust valves, which I am not sure you can retrofit to the 276. As said, remap is the best option.
  18. Probably forgotten about in all honesty. Sure its on Chesterfield's todo list somewhere, but hes a busy boy atm
  19. I had a look and its right there in the "Beavis and Louis are lovers" section. You better hope they dont see you voted that
  20. Get all my fuel from Tesco's too. And remember your clubcard! My points usually pay for our hotel at the Wales run weekends

+1 I have to agree. While we usually do rip people for silly looking mods which potentially is all down to taste, this is one case where it could be just downright dangerous. You'll also notice that the point of banging your head against the cage has also been mentioned and that you should only have a cage if you really need one. I think these are all valid points and not just a dig at the Sketch. Also as has been covered many many times on many forums, if the OP posts up asking a question/opinions, they are accepting all comments, both positive and negative, thats the point of an open forum
  22. Thats just pathetic. They are blatently just trying to save money by not fitting them as standard, and even admiting they need them by running with them on the track. What would happen if you did track it and cooked it and the bearings failed? Are there any warnings about track preperation for the car? They cant do experiences advertising how good the car is on the track and then expect you to mod the car before you do the same in a standard one
