  1. I doubt it, normally comes under perishables Yup, unless it dies in say less than a year, they'd tell you to feck off! Doesnt the alternator put out more than 12v? I thought it was nearer 14v
  2. I had something similar on my 53 car, it was because the battery was shot. New battery and everything worked like new. 56 plate seems a bit "young" for the battery to be gone but it could be. Moved to Technical for you
  3. Colin needs to get in the line Go on, get one, I want one to have a go in
  4. Sorry, typed that wrong, will correct my original post. Scorpion is louder than stock and Nismo is louder than Scorpion, in about the same increments. What I mean was the sound was quite similar unlike say something like the DC which IMO is a lot raspier. Never heard of the heat shieds causing rasp, learn something new every day I was under the impression that the rasp comes from using thinner metal that rattles and vibrates more
  5. Yup, agree with the others. Adam@Z1auto or Envy will sort you out. Watch out for the lead times on them, they can vary quite a lot. Adam has a canny knack for getting hold of very sort after and rare rims. Give them both a PM and they will quote the costs, no hidden charges. Should be noted Adam will always quote the exact value of the item on the Customs slip so that if anything happens, the insurance will pay out the full amount, unlike a lot of US places which quote it low to save on tax, but then wont pay out if anything happens in transit. For reference, I had a set of Bride seat rails delivered from Adam to my desk at work in under 5 days
  6. Makes me laugh on the tyre shine when it says not for Motobikes. Can you imagine if some numpty put it across their bike tyres Also watch your tyre pressures at this time of year, the cold can make them go down a few PSI, which can make some of them flex more and feel a little un-nerving.
  7. Yup, from what I've heard the Scorpion is a bit louded than stock but keeps the note pretty similar to stock or Nismo. Scorpion is a bit louder than stock and Nismo is louder again and more meaty. Non of them are raspy like you get with some exhausts. De-cats/HFCs are usually what makes things raspier and then headers on top of that makes them really raspy. Remember that when playing Marks comparison vid and look at the car specs, its not all down to the exhaust - cats, headers, intake and even plenum spacers can make a difference to the note
  8. Good stuff, the ESP isnt always crap then In all seriousness, as you have found, it is beneficial to have the ESP on at this time of year
  9. Deicer, scraper or a bit of cold/warmish water are my usual methods. I hate the smell of deicer and the sound of the scraper, so usually use my water method. With regard the seals sticking to the inside of the window, if you use that Gumipledge (however its spelt!) stuff on it I find they dont stick any more
  10. Getting to that time of year Jerry. Time to take it easy around the bends. Did the ESP save you from spinning then?
  11. They are most definately a grower. I didnt like them at first, but just like the Mk2 Leon grew on me after hating it after having a Mk1 Leon, the 370z will grow on you when you see it more often. I was in WLMG in Slough yesterday having a P1 service and they have one there in the blue. It looks a lot better in the flesh, but red is still the one for me Also seeing more stuff from the States that suggests you can get some decent gains with intake/exhaust etc which makes it good for over 350BHP, which would require my Zed to have FI to get that high
  12. We have a few V3 Veilsides in the club, look forward to seeing yours progress
  13. As you suspect, I would say this is too good to be true. Any rear end damage is likely to cost way more than they are quoting, otherwise they wouldnt be selling it so cheap. You wont be able to tell if the chasis is bent unless you get it on a jig. I would tell your mate to walk away TBH. There are a lot of good examples out there for more money, for good reason. I'm sure the more knowledgable members will be along, but for me I wouldnt go there.
  14. that's one i'm working on, will try and get it finished within the next week if i remember GO GO GO
  15. Looks like a very nice sleeper you have there. Very rare around these parts, I only know of the demo one being the other one about.
  16. Sounds like you had a close call! Thats why I'm liking the new Stillen Gen 3 design for the 370z. Keeps it nicely tucked up high in the bumper but out of the engine bay.
  17. I was walking towards my car and saw him with his Zed, so I told him about the club and then realised who he was, hopefully he’ll be joining us on the forum soon and maybe also to a meet in the future… That would be brilliant Mitz
  18. Looks great. Looks to me like the panel gaps are as per OEM fitment, equally as pants! Thats Nissan for you. If you made them better it would look odd. I agree they follow the original lines Gap to the bonnet looks better than my OEM one
  19. With orders like that, we'll be switching Envy onto the percentage pay back scheme rather than a normal trader
  20. Your right Chris It could be the 'clearing the road' for the club run patrol - I basically ram any caravanners and Vectra owners out of the way! I like the idea of that
  21. You now get to be the tactical photography vehicle Stan. Just think how much kit we can fit in your boot, or even a whole person for drive bys
  22. Good man. My plans have changed slightly, but I will still be along to see you in the new year, just a bit later than planned hopefully with a different car
  23. Nice one bud, does that apply to UK cars and 370z's too?
