  3. Here's a couple more pictures I took this weekend.
  4. The time has come to put my 350z up for sale. After a wonderful trip through the french alps in her last month it now has to make way for a family friendly motor. The car is a Black UK 350Z GT with black leather. It comes with all the usual GT stuff including bluetooth, 350z floor mats etc. It has 18" Rays with nearly new Bridgestone RE050 all round. FSH and had a P2 service a few weeks ago. 54,000 miles. T&T until Nov 2010. I've put a couple of pictures up, but if you would like to see anymore just drop me a PM. I am looking for £9,500. Its going on PH and Autotrader at the beginning of October so you have got a couple of weeks to grap yourself a bargin before then

  6. Thanks for most of your suggests guys. I eventually got it out with a combination of brute force and fiddling with coat hanger, tweasers taped to the end of long nose pliers. I managed to force the rubber passed the hex and the fish out the smashed ceramics. I couldn't get all the debris out before taking the plug out I just hope the none went into the bore. I taped 2 straws to the end of the hoover to suck out the crumbs. I three thousand mile european road trip next week should be a good test for it!
  7. I have bought the longest thinest pliers I can find, but still no joy and knackered the ceramic of the plug in the process. mic-39. that is the problem I can't get the socket back on because the rubber is stopping it.
  8. I have tried knocking the socket on the plug and was hitting it pretty hard too, but still no joy. I really am lost. I could try a long handle on a scalpel?? I can't believe such a simple job lead to a such a big problem
  9. I don't think I will be able to get thin nosed pliers long enough and thin enough to get down there. I might try pouring some petrol down the tube and try burning it off. Not sure the petrol would burn down there though.
  10. The problem is when I tried to put the socket back on it pushed the rubber over the hex! What do you mean about removing the rocker cover?
  11. I was changing my spark plugs this afternoon with one of those sockets with a rubber insert to grip the plugs. After tighting up the 3rd plug I pulled the the socket out but the rubber insert stuck on the plug deep inside the cylinder head. Now I can't get a socket back on to remove the plug and I can't fit the coil pack thingy on! Does anybody have any ideas on how to remove the rubber??
  12. I thought my old tyres had worn unevenly until I noticed that the new bridgestone I had fitted resently have less tread depth on the outsection when they are new. Rear tyres lasted about 10k of normal driving and will probably get about 15k out of the fronts
  13. I think the 350z is very much a GT car. I really missed the acceleration from my S14a when I 1st got my zed and was disappointed with the performance. But after 2 years of ownership the 350 is really growing on me. You can be really aggressive with it and chuck it around without being in fear of it biting back. In summary in a strightline there are plenty of faster cars out there, but as a complete package it it top notch. As for road noise I thought it was pretty quiet. Should be rename this threat SXOC reunion??
