  1. I wonder how many more of us will be getting a letter soon. Hopefully none of us. However if they are doing people at 35MPH, then quite a few might have strayed around that number F'in shocking if you ask me, that camera had nothing to do with safety as it was on the way up to a national speed limit section of road
  2. +1 and now we know for sure where to send the money as it will get doubled
  3. Which model year Lee? Theres a bit of a difference between MY09 and MY10. Does that also include any wiring that goes to the centre arm rest to connect the A/V and USB?
  4. Probably after they are all sold
  5. Chris`I

    235 or 245s?

My 370z has 245F and 275R if I remember rightly, so that would be a good combo if they fit the rims - which going by BMs comment above - they do EDIT: Bit of a quick google later and actually most in the States seem to say 255/285 is the best combo for your wheels
  6. The problem was probably that bass is non-directional and in the hills very hard to pinpoint, he sounded like he was everywhere
  7. Go on ..... blame me,I can take it. But we were lucky, today was 3 or 4 times worse. As it goes, I didnt think it was as bad as it could have been - far from it - seen a lot worse up in them hills. At least we had some sun
  8. Have to show this to Amanda, she'll love that given her ex-boss has a Roc
  9. Currently 12 weeks, built to order Hopefully it'll be like my Zed and turn up a month early!
  10. Great car, but looking at the Alfa OC, MPG isnt as good as published. We've just put in an order for the 2.0 JTDM2 140HP. We had one for test overnight and it was great. With Amanda booting it in the Zed, the Giulietta wasnt miles behind, its a great engine I found. We also got very good fuel consumption from it.
  11. Another great weekend as always. Weather was ok mostly at the right times. Good to see all the same faces again and some new. Second Wills evaluation of the run back to Moreton, twas a cracker. Great work done by those who formulate the routes Shire - well where do we start. On Sunday evening he was wearing a girls t-shirt! I'll let Mr Chesterfield post the evidence
  12. +1 although I'm bais being in a few of Andy's pics Was another great weekend. My cheif snapper was having a break this time around, so no shots from me, everyone else has it covered though
  13. Not sure there is, certainly not like you get with other aftermarket systems where you can add you own POIs and speed cameras. IIRC the only way to get updates is a map update, which you'll have to pay for, just like any other OEM car manufacturers system (which does suck!) As for Connect Premium, Nissan Customer Care dont know a lot. If you get the right people they do, but effectively you're better off asking questions in here or the US forums I have good contacts in NMGB to get most questions answered though
  14. Touchscreen = undoubtedly Connect Premium. Also if the SatNav takes postcodes, equally its Connect Premium. HDD isnt missing, its only activated when you insert a CD. It allows said CD to be ripped to the HDD as an MP3 and played back via the media system without the disc in future. Most find this is a pain and just get a USB stick and put MP3s on that, or connect an iPod. Oh also note, CD has to be a "proper" CD, not a CD of MP3s. It will play MP3 CDs I think but because they are not original songs, it wont copy them. It will only copy CDA or whatever the format is on production CDs. You definately have Connect Premium though
  15. Too light to be metal if you've picked one up. Also says in the service manual to replace it if dropped, and that wouldnt be an issue with metal, more composite materials that fracture/splinter when dropped.
  16. Its carbon reinforced plastic or cabon composite material of some kind.
  17. Its about 70 quid IIRC - at least if you get it over from the States like my mate did. Great vid there Tim, bet the only problem now is that you want more cameras and mounts Apparently you can daisy chain 2 of them in a special housing to get 3D now too! I like the pull away shot, shows how little contact patch the tyres have or at least it looks that way
  18. Looking good there Think theres more track Zeds about than people realised, but most of them are out on track rather than polishing and posting
  19. Hey Mike, good to hear you still have the Zed
  20. There are quite a few oddities, so it is possible. We seem to have just about every rare incarnation over here. 280 as far as I'm aware wasn't 3 litres though. Some of the Z31 300zx, were 2 litres. Quite rare. Wikipedia (as well as Immy of course) is our friend:
