  1. Correct. You can move onto a new contract of the same value or more very easily. Will mean a slight tweak to your minutes/txt combo most likely unless there is a directly comparable contract. Customer services will sort it out very quickly. That or if you jailbreak I think it enables it.
  2. Looking good guys and gals. Weather looks a whole lot better than we got at the DTM@Brands, I think I should have come with you lot
  3. Yeah they're ok mate, pretty well made TBH. From the outside they look very good. Its only when you open them up you can see corners have been cut, but still well worth the money. Just dont go out without any backup lights as they have been known to just die. Always take a spare to get you home, even if its just an LED head torch or something. As a comparison, the Magicshines we have are the 900 lumen and cost about £60ea. The Joysticks we have are so much better made, but just 300 lumen and cost about £120ea. The Joysticks are so much more robust and I'd epect them never to fail, whereas the Magicshine I expect to give up at some point. They run hot and kill batteries quite quick (being so powerful). The chargers for the Magicshine are also a bit pants and wouldnt leave one unattended unless it was in a fireproof bowl/dish.
  4. Both AK and I (and Amanda and even Fran I think) have a set of the 900 lumen ones. They are a lot more expensive than we paid though - you used to be able to get Magicshines for about 50 quid. Be warned these are not Exposure or Hope quality lights, they are quite cheaply made so dont use them as your only source of light on a night ride. We have ours backed up with some 300 lumen Exposure Joysticks on our helmets
  5. Thethering is what you need, should be supported if you phone is up to date. Will be over bluetooth on a 3GS http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3574
  6. Looks similar to the systems that Nurrish did/does.
  7. Not true I'm afraid - but does work in most cases. I know someone who works very closely to these systems and its down to the license that the people who run them buy. Basic system can be fooled by lane switching, but the more advance features can be bought which will spot it
  8. Personally they would have to be really dirty for me to want to split them. Most (if not all) of the lights I've seen that have been split open in the past have condensation - not that I've seen any of Husky's so he may be able to work around that. Something to be very careful of.
  9. I looked for a set of coilovers and couldnt find any that didnt drop the car at least 20mm. If you want better handling then thats the way to go if you are already going to do ARBs. Why not do the ARBs and bushes and see how it feels?
  10. And then click the link which says something about releasing the new PMs in your inbox
  11. The reason I ruled out the Berk exhuast was because at the time the design was the same as Stillen - yet people were having fitting problems. Sure its all fine now though. Should give the same noise and gains as a Stillen, so if I did it again I'd get whichever is cheapest
  12. Flocked dash looked good - that was on the list for my 350z when I px'd it for the '70. Shame it stops the airbag working - not thats a problem in your car
  13. Should have invested in a hummer and ploughed them all down - call it natural selection
  14. Open. Supprised they fitted it tbh, makes naff all difference in this country. Far better to have slightly higher intake temps all year than forget to re-open it when it gets cold and have the throttle freeze. IIRC you should have it open when the outside temp is less than 12C or something like that. Details will be on the Motordyne site. In short - open
  15. NP - sure someone will be along with the right torque settings in a mo - but its off the bottom of most peoples torque wrenches anyway. Only the one I have for my MTB goes low enough, its barely hand tight. IIRC someone also suggested wrapping a rag around the handle to make sure you dont over tighten
  16. +1 - forgot about mine and left if on the car when I PX'd it
  17. They arent meant to be uber tight, but they certainly shouldnt rattle around. Basically, to tighten them without a torque wrench you want a socket driver with a handle like a screw driver and then do them up hand tight. You can snap them if done up with a normal ratchet if not using a torque wrench.
  18. Dont have any money to spend until after May next year Mark - pesky wedding to pay for. Tried to get in as much as I could before the spending freeze came into play which inc the 370z, Stillen and UpRev so didnt do too bad Unless my accountant finds some spare funds in my company accounts then I can syphon them off without suspicion
  19. TBH the design of the Stillen and Akra are very similar and the noise they make are similar too. G-mans sounds nicer as he has HFCs which add quite a bit more noise both in volume and a little raspier. I dont think you'd be disappointed with either. I'm going to wind George up and say the Stillen makes better gains too
  20. They'll just whack average speed cameras at 100m intervals then people cant speed down there. ATM I'm guessing they have them on entry and exit, so people drive in and stop, wait for a bit, then gun it. I'm with Chris though, its probably a lot more to do with the noise than the actual speed. I'll eat my words though when a footballer inevitably stacks it
  21. I think the 370z concept quite possibly had them. Shame they didnt do it as with the new DRL legislation, they have to have something now and that would have looked great - and matched the missus Alfa
  22. I do like the CinCity lights, but I wouldnt dare crack open my lights to do it
