  1. Nismo whore. Now get out of Tarmac's thread or I'll ban you
  2. SRP and EGP are a good way to get into detailing. Functionaltiy wise theres nothing wrong with them. There is better but you'll pay more. It depends on what value you put on it. At the end of the day it will clean and protect the paint which is more than can be said for some other products. I like Dodo as they are a nice step up finish wise, but dont cost the earth. Any higher and it really is a case of diminishing returns. Giving the car a good polish and removing imperfections in the paint are the biggest steps in getting a good finish.
  3. As above, whatever you're most comfortable with. With machine it will give it a bit more bite, especially if you use anything other than a light polish/finishing pad.
  4. Yes but they would normally have the nismo logo somewhere on the inside in the fibre glass, like in the thread below if they are portrayed as nismo http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic. ... t=nismo+v1 OK fair cop guv - skirts probably arent the best example. Sure there must be something on the Nismo 350z that is refered to as Nismo because its on that car, rather than being actual Nismo stuff Sarnie - I could have painted mine, but I'd have not done a particularly good job and I dont want to go the same way as I did with the 350z and do unreversible mods. I'd rather pay now and sell it on later. Even if I get £50 for it, still means I can go back to OEM when it comes to sell it. Same with the intakes, although it involved some trimming, thats all hidden so you'd never tell it'd been done
  5. Look forward to seeing the progress on this one
  6. Nismo cover for me too, did a brill job, delivery was super quick (once he got them!) and packing was second to none. Fully recommend the big T Sportz
  7. Cant think of any Nismo part that does not carry the name somewhere on it. Ok - well yes for the pedantic - its not actually a Nismo part, its a part of the Nismo car. Just like the "Nismo" side skirts on the 350z. I'm not sure they are acutally made by Nismo, its just the styling from the Nismo car
  8. Updated first page - reversing cam (need to get new photos) and Nismo engine cover
  9. Because it soon rains and the roof sticks down Glad to hear its all working as it should matey
  10. Plenty trotting around at JapFest anyway mate. Only thing that will make her stand out is if shes acutally pretty as most of them at car shows are mingers I would request that she doesnt drape herself over cars where the owner isnt present though - its not nice to come back to hand prints and potential swirls on your car
  11. Thats the one we always use Mike. He's based in HK but used to post up in eBay US as a US seller. Always came from HK though Takes about 10 days to get them to you though. Unfortunatly I gave my spare to Al I think.
  12. I'm hoping to be at Japfest, but have other commitments that day so may not make it. Can you PM Martinmac and see if there is a stand pass left? You may have to buy a ticket on the door, but we are right by the main entrance so dead easy to find us
  13. There is one on the site from what I remember. Getting old I forget whos got it
  14. Depends what you are polishing for. To remove contaminants then by hand is fine, but to correct swirls you need the speed of a DA to actually cut into the paint a little. Once you've had a correction done though and if you use the 2BM, swirls should be virtually none existent and then polishing by hand would be fine. Depends if you buy a DA to do the correction, you may as well use it for subsequent polish sessions, but if you paid a pro to correct it then doing it by hand is fine afterwards.
  15. Didnt have my OEM exhaust on for long, but cant say I remember it doing that. Sounds like something may be loose, get it on a ramp and have a look or get it to a dealer under warranty.
  16. BM will be upset. I wonder if he was interviewed for the BBC poll recently - http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/12918531 - Good work bud, very stylish shots
  17. Good work Andrew! Need to get her run in before we arrive, only a week to go Not yet. But a few of my friends have, and thought they were good. Coming into winter here now, so might be worth a try, to help keep warm as much as keeping the muscles warm and doing what they should. Nice to know Immy, I'll let you know how I get on with them. Amanda thought they were hillarious
  18. Happens to the best of us! Anyone tried out compression tights/tops? Though I would give them a go as my recent road riding a few times a week coupled with going out with Amandas lot from work once a week has taken its toll on my legs. Found some for a good price so got them. Just wondering if they work? Seem to from the reviews
  19. I got distracted playing with an Alfa we had the loan of for the night
  20. He missed his delivery and re-arranged for Friday so get your finger out Yes Sir! Delivery to the office FTW
  21. Mines not fitted yet, so the big G man might beat me
  22. OK will look into it. Can you try the 370z theme (Select it from User Control Panel) and see if that makes it quicker. The 370z theme is my testbed for optimization and I've done a few tweaks to it that I'm testing over time. I think you can get page speed for Chrome
