  1. That is a cracking plate
  2. Well going by the fact that the one I broke was a SRAM 991, I'd say not one of those! I've always had KMC before and they are very good, never had a problem with them. Just for you they do one in gold too Somthing like the KMC X9 would do you well, I had one on a couple of older bikes and never had a prob. Most likely what I will be getting this time
  3. Well I had a most unproductive ride yesterday! Went down to Swindon to see what they updates the chaps at MBSwindon had made to their trail, when 10 minutes in I had a mechanical. Somehow a plate on the chain had come off its pin, which then jammed in the jockey wheel of my X0 mech, which then whipped around and took out the mech hanger, but only after destroying the jockey wheel and rear mech plate Managed to patch up the bike now with an old X9 mech (but doesnt shift into 9th, which is why I got the X0 ) and a chain 2 links shorter. Managed to steal the old mech hanger off my other bike - thank god Specialized make interchangable mech hangers! Off to get a new chain today I think, and have a look around for a new mech. I got the old X0 half price and no where seems to do them for a good price any more
  4. You obviously havent tried to get into the back seats then
  5. Sorry, can't work out what AFR's are..............air/fuel ratio maybe? Yep. And Zeds run very rich by default - UpRev sorts this out and gets more power and better fuel consumption
  6. Glad to hear you got it all sorted. Instructions made perfect sense to me. If you think they should be clearer, let Brian know, hes a sound guy and looking to make things as easy as possible
  7. I've got 680mm Pro XCR carbon bars on mine with a 75mm stem, and no way I'd run a 50mm stem with them. I'd want wider I think
  8. Speak to Tim (Envy Valeting). He'll sort you out. TBH it doesnt matter what kit you use as long as it has light polish and finishing pads. Always start with the least abrasive the first time (finishing pad and something like Dodo Lime Prime) and work up. I've always gotten on well with PoorBoys Super Swirl Remover. I used SSR2.5, 2, and 1 to remove the swirls on my old 350z
  9. If hilarious stops muscle niggles or damage, bring on hilarious. Dont worry I told her to shut up. Also she wakes up the day after the ride with aching legs, and mine are fine
  10. Exactly. It's pitched as a bargain because to buy it is. To run it's average / cheap for the company it keeps. +2 People buy it as the initial cost is so low. Even Nissan has said it is a supercar and is serviced as such. The 350z and 370z are basically large Micra engines with bits bolted on (as they are NA) and dont throw down a whole load of power and dont have complicated drive trains. The GTR is a whole other animal completely and should be considered as up there with Fezza and Lambo as a supercar. I was seriously tempted by one until I realised (a) I'd need another mortgage to finance the running costs, ( it doesnt fit in the garage, © depreciation is massive as people buy them, run them til the first few services are up (some free I beleive) and then try to shift them.
  11. 70mm would be a good start. I wouldnt go from 110mm to 50mm unless you have had short stems before, its a big jump and will make the handling much twitchier. Does it come with 110 as standard? That sounds quite long for a modern bike. Maybe the previous owner put a longer stem on?
  12. Looking good James. New will make the old feel very old when you get a proper ride on it
  13. What happens if your car is stolen and you have to recover it from near Chippenham?
  14. Until MY2011 cars, the back up cam was not an option. A clever chap in the States made a harness to allow you to connect an aftermarket Kenwood camera and get the lines etc working like this:
  15. Damn you put that away! I've spend my dosh for this quarter, have to wait til I start my new job and get a salary again. Damn wedding took all my dosh this quarter, oh and that nice place Abbey have some in a few weeks Mind you the car is soon to become my play thing rather than daily driver, so can make a few performance mods hmmmm
  16. My missus was in my car past that pub on Tuesday night, but obviously thats not a GM 350z
  17. Not the sort of thing we can condone on this forum, sorry. Thread locked.
